Pros:

Lovely building in a quiet residential area with good parking .
The room was lovely with a great view over the cathedral .
great breakfast .
Anna the manager is so lovely, helpful and very knowledgeable about Durham
Would highly recommend, we will definitely stay again

Suited us for an a couple of nights whilst exploring Durham.
Pros:

Location was good, and a lovely breakfast.
Bit dated, but very clean and comfortable.
Attached Indian restaurant was good.
15 minute walk to town centre.

Cons:

No fan or opening window in bathroom.
No way to dry towels

Staff! Oh my word! What absolutely wonderful humans - worth every penny because of them 😊
Pros:

Beautiful old building with lots of character. Quirky. Only downside was the darn steep hill it was sat at the top of 🙀🙀🙀

Cons:

The Indian restaurant was just outside our room - sometimes you could smell cooking - but it wasn’t unpleasant

Fabulous guesthouse
Pros:

Everything is nearby, 15 mins ish walks to the city of Durham,
The staff was lovely, the room is very clean, the Indian restaurant below the guesthouse is delicious,
Would go back again if we are in Durham.

Would go again.
Pros:

Quiet and in a good location. Staff were very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Small issue but not all of us are tall enough to see into the bathroom mirrors….more suitable for six footers.

Nice, comfortable place for a night’s stay
Pros:

The manager Anna was very efficient and kind. Communication was excellent, property was clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

The bathroom could do with having a few hooks for clothes. The bathroom mat had seen better days. But these are minor things that can be easily sorted. Overall, the facilities were spotlessly clean.
