the location is perfect for getting on the train and exploring the local pubs with live music. breakfast was wonderful. staff wonderful
The hotel was very comfortable in and outside the room. The lobby and bar enable you to relax at any time of day and you can have a range of drinks and people watch. A lot of thought has gone into the structure and decoration. Staff were very attentive and helpful, being able to leave your luggage if you srevesrly is great. The shower was great, missed a bath but ok for 3 nights. The continental breakfast covers a range of needs and well laid out and no shortage on restocking.
The double standard room is compact and great for short stays. A second chair and larger bed side areas would help. It would be nice to have hot food at breakfast.
A very comfortable bed and pillows. Tasty and generous continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Especially Vanessa from housekeeping. Room was sound proofed with thick curtains so was quiet in spite of proximity to station.
Random items like melamine picnic cups in the room, no glass for water, no drawers for clothes. Having to set our own table at breakfast. Tables too close together.
