Location and character
Nice hotel with bar and restaurant. Very close to waterfall and other towns to visit the area. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly hotel. The food was good and great breakfast choices. The area is very calm and quiet, ideal to relax.
The pillow was too soft and the window was making a bit of noise with the wind.
The very friendly staff
It was all great
Location is perfect if walking Pennine Way. Really close to falls. Food was excellent.
Room was very small considering how much we paid.

Location is perfect for high and low force.
Lovely area.
Rooms were decent size
Had booked evening meal prior to booking through their website.
A private booking came in so they took the room and everyone else had to eat within the pub area.
Rooms got too hot through the night
Conveniently located for the Pennine Way. I had a half board deal which was excellent value. Very comfortable rooms and extremely welcoming staff. Dinner was very tasty and breakfast was excellent.
I think my room was above the kitchen, which was a bit noisy.
Very friendly staff

The evening meal was exceptional.
The shower in our room was just fabulous!!!
Our room was a little small however we did book last minute and were made aware when booking that it was a comfort room. It was fine for an overnight stay- very cosy.
Wet welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
This property is owned by the Raby estate
It is the most beautiful boutique hotel in the area. From the luxurious bed linens to the food I booked half board and it was a very good deal , plus they gave us vouchers for free entry to Raby Castle is a must see..plus the high and low force waterfalls don’t miss them
Very dog friendly and a lovely stay close to some nice walks.
