Fairfield by Marriott Belitung

This was our first trip to Belitung and we had several options to choose from for our lodging. We decided on Fairfield and were glad that we did!

1. Staff
Every single one of them who attended to us were so friendly and attentive, from the receptionist to the kitchen staff who packed cooked food for us on the day we had to leave very early (4am) for check out.

Every request made was attended to promptly and always with a sincere smile. They made you feel right at home.

All of them were able to converse in English which made it really easy in terms of communication.

2. Location
The connectivity to many of our places of interest was good! We didn't spend too long on the road. From the airport, it was less than a 30 minute drive.
To the beautiful beaches, even less than that. There are some good eateries around, with the mini mart just a stone's throw away.

As our flight was super early, we tried our luck and asked for an early check in. Thank you so much to the staff for being so accomodating!

3. Massage
Please go for it if you have the time. Smooth and firm without causing any pain.

4. Breakfast was great. They serve delicious, freshly prepared juices (try the healthy juice - dark green with some tangy, refreshing citrus undertones), the spread of pastry is decent, there's a corner with all the chilled jamu concoctions. Their local kuihs are a must try. Not too sweet; it was just nice.

5. Facilities
We didnt try the swimming pool but there's a direct access to the pool for rooms on the ground floor. Those with kids may wanna book those rooms. That's what I'll do when I return with my kiddos!

The landscape is gorgeous with twinkling fairy lights in the evening. You can head out to the gazebo to look at the beautiful nightsky and enjoy the view of our beautiful stars.

The lights are quite bright so you'll have to choose a good spot to see the stars.

The room we were in was comfortable and the size was decent for 2 pax.

The hospitality, the staffs are very helpful and always smile. The lady at the reception (Rasya) is so kind and helpful. I can see someone who works with their heart, because she is so sincere.

Clean and neat

Good location near the city of Tanjung Pandan. Nice atmosphere in the rooms and good view. Worth to stay here with that value of money.

I had a fantastic stay at the Fairfield in Belitung. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. Every morning I was greeted by name, which made me feel genuinely welcome and valued as a guest.

The team were always helpful, accommodating, and happy to assist with any request. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the overall service was top-notch from start to finish.

A big thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belitung Island and would gladly stay here again.

The staff❣️In all my stays with hotels around the world, I’ve not met a team that is this joyous, authentic and helpful- nothing was beyond their enthusiasm to support! They seemed genuinely happy working with one another and collaborate to attend to the needs of the guests. Special shout-out to Jesika, Egi, Cynthia, Nora, Dimas, and the many others we encountered in our 4 days stay. Many thanks too to the 2 drivers that brought us to the beaches, and even stopping along the road for us to eat durians together.
Breakfast spread was reasonable and satisfying, with the consistent smiles and easy conversation with the staff.
Bbq dinner at the pool memorable, again because of the easy bantering with the staff (looking at you, young beautiful Jesika!)
Our room overlooking the ocean afforded us a beautiful sunset every evening.

I know it has been quite some time since our stay at your property, but as the saying goes, better late than never.

We stayed at your property last December, and to this day, we still talk about the wonderful experience we had. Your staff truly made our visit unforgettable — especially Gabby.

Gabby was exceptionally attentive and detail-oriented from the very beginning. She contacted my husband prior to our arrival, and upon check-in, greeted him personally by his last name. Such a thoughtful and warm gesture immediately made us feel welcomed and valued.

When we entered our room, we were genuinely touched by the beautiful birthday decorations prepared for my husband, who had just celebrated his birthday. The personalized welcome card from Cynthia, your Front Desk Manager, along with the birthday card signed by the staff, fruit plates, and cake, made the celebration incredibly special.

I sincerely want to commend you and your team for delivering such outstanding hospitality and for truly understanding the meaning of excellent customer service. This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Your team exceeded our expectations in every way.

Please extend our heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes to everyone on your staff. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on us.

I also wanted to mention how much I enjoyed the yoga session with your group — it was such a wonderful addition to our stay.

Just checked out and overall had a really nice stay. The staff were super friendly and quick to help with anything.

My first room was humid, but they handled my request to move really fast, which I appreciated. Also left my husband’s charger behind and they quickly found it and brought it up to our room great service!

Loved the sunset view, and breakfast was really good too!

I stayed in at the Fairfield by Marriott Belitung, in April 2026, for four nights and overall had a very pleasant experience.

The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout my stay, which made it easy to relax after a busy day exploring. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient.

Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus. While I personally found the breakfast options a bit limited, this may have simply come down to personal preference rather than an issue with the hotel itself.

Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Belitung.

I had a wonderful stay at Fairfield Belitung for two nights with a friend. We stayed in a super cozy twin room with a clean bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The view was absolutely beautiful, especially in the early morning and at dawn. It made our stay feel extra special.

All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I’d especially like to mention the receptionist (I didn’t catch her name, the one with long, slightly wavy hair), who was incredibly cheerful and warm. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The driver who picked us up from the airport was also great. Both of them helped us arrange car rental and plan our activities, which made everything so much easier.

The location is very convenient. There’s a great café right in front of the hotel. Perfect if you love coffee like I do. A minimarket is just a short walk away, and there’s also a decent beachfront restaurant within walking distance. Plus, several local souvenir shops (toko oleh-oleh) are nearby, which is a nice bonus.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely love to come back.
