Baanmai Kon Muang

Loved my hut overlooking the river.
My room had fan and Aircon, a TV (I didn't use) shower and toilet with corrugated iron roof, large bed, tye bed was hard but I liked that. Little chair and desk, couch, fridge, soap provided, balcony with chairs overlooking the river. It was so peaceful here I struggled to leave to do stuff.
The restaurant provided free breakfast for guests with toast, coffee, tea, bananas.
I ate dinner at the restaurant twice, both very nice meals. As a guest you can walk across the bamboo bridge and take some nice photos of the area.
Would definitely recommend if you want some peace away from town, but not too far from it.
Staff were so welcoming and so helpful. Even dropped me into town for free when I had to leave. It's a great choice.

The location is great, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The surroundings are lovely, and the on-site restaurant is simple but good. The rooms are starting to show their age though—humidity and a bit of mold are issues. The staff we met wasn’t the friendliest either. Still, for the price, it's a solid option.

Great place on the Pai River.

Very nice

I really liked this place. It's right on the river in a beautiful location on the road that goes into town. It's about a 15 min walk to the walking street area which is where all the action happens in the evenings. It's peaceful and a very nice place to stay.

Stopped here to grab some food and a drink. The food wasn't that impressive but we liked the view over the river. Can recommend people to stop for a beer but skip the food. The prices were reasonable.

While Pai has many great places to stay this one is still my favorite at the moment. Lovely clean bungalow directly by the river, great view and a nice restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Because it is a short drive at the end of the main road, directly at the river it is also very quiet and relaxing, well nearly everything in Pai is relaxing because the best thing to do in Pai is doing nothing, reading a book and watching the nature. Can highly recommend to come here, it is a gem in a beautiful city.

room was very clean and spacious. Beds were a bit hard but slept fine. Bathroom has no windows so the room can get quite stuffy. Towels provided. Water provided daily. Aircon and fan. Very quiet area. We had a scooter so was no issue getting into town. Ample parking. Lady at desk can speak English and was helpful.
Negatives- shower pressure not great and wifi was temperamental (worked at times)
Breakfast is just tea,coffee and toast.

This place us a real gem!. It is a bit of a walking distance from town, but if you like the quite its great! The rooms are a good size very clean with great fan and a/c. The river is 15m away from our room, with a good view of the mountains.
