Pros:

Excellent location, great rooms and a very friendly host. We had breakfast cooked for us every morning and it was of a very high quality. The owner even cooked us dinner one night which was amazing. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in A Bay

Lovely stay – the place was very clean, with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. The owner was so welcoming, and the cute kittens were a bonus! We’ll definitely be back :)

Pros:

Super emplacement à 3 min à pied de la plage et également en pleins centre (restaurants, boutiques…). L’hôte est vraiment très gentil, il nous a organisé le petit déjeuné tous les matins et caler un cours de surf qui était au top ! Petite terrasse également pour chaque chambre.

Assez chère, après nous étions en haute saison

Komfortowy pobyt z wyjątkową gościnnością właściciela
Pros:

Bezproblemowy kontakt z właścicielem, szybkie zameldowanie nawet w środku nocy. Właściciel wymienił nam pieniądze po bardzo dobrym kursie, załatwił taksówkę w świetnej cenie, dostępne były także opcje prania, safari, masażu i więcej. Dobre śniadanie przygotowywane przez właściciela na świeżo: pieczywo, jajka, dżem, owoce, domowe soki owocowe, kawa, herbata. Pokój czysty, sprawna klimatyzacja, wygodne łóżko. Kilka minut do plaży, restauracje, kawiarnie, sklepy. Zdecydowanie miejsce godne polecenia i mamy nadzieję że uda nam się wrócić!

Insgesamt war die Unterkunft deutlich zu teuer für das was man bekommen hat. Daher keine Empfehlung.
Pros:

Gute Lage, nur übt die Straße und man ist am Strand. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße, aber dennoch ruhig.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr karg eingerichtet, Stromkabel gucken aus der Wand. Das Frühstück ist mehr schlecht als recht, Toast mit Margarine und Marmelade dazu einige Bananen. Lediglich Kaffee, Tee und frisch gemachter Saft waren ok. Am nächsten Tag gab es Pancakes, für die Kinder toll, doch ohne Alternative.

Voor een nachtje prima, niet sfeervol, niet schoon.
Pros:

Eigenaar was vriendelijk. Heeft ons upgrade gegeven nadat we hadden geklaagd over kamer, gelukkig maar!
Ontbijt op zich best prima, maar geen keuze; of een mega zoete pannenkoek, of toast met ei. Onze dochter was jarig in Arugam. Eigenaar heeft ballonnen opgehangen en taartje gehaald voor haar. Dat was echt heel lief!

Cons:

Eerste kamers leken echt totaal niet op de foto’s; kleine saaie kamer, geen koelkast en geen klamboe. Tweede, betere kamer was boven. Hier wel koelkast, iets meer ruimte.
Schoonmaak is écht zeer matig, dikke stofwolken op kastje en onder bed. Het is niet echt gezellig, er is een patio met wat tafels voor ontbijt, daar kan je wel zitten, maar het is eigenlijk allemaal matig. Foto’s op booking komen totaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid!!
