Staff was friendly & helpful, convenient parking, and great location. Everything we needed was in walking distance.
Honestly the food had a weird perfume taste and was under cooked. (Breakfast) the options were good just tasted funny.
I need to give a HUGE shout-out to the folks at Even/Downtown Pittsburgh. Like a complete fool, I left my jewelry (valuable, but more important, of tremendous sentimental value) in the room safe when I checked out. Everyone on the staff, from guest services to the general manager (Maya! Anber! Tammy! ) was so, so, so incredibly attentive when I called. Another guest had already checked into the room and had put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, but as soon as the manager heard voices inside, she called the room and retrieved my little bag of jewelry. She then called me and held my items in her office until I arrived. I got back my recently deceased mother’s gold ring! Wow, wow, wow. Not to mention that the room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bath, at an unbelievably reasonable price. Thanks a million!
The service, location, amenities, staff, rooms, cleanliness and environment were excellent! Proximity to shopping, activities, venues were all great!

The Even hotel Pittsburgh exceeded expectations for a 3.5 star downtown hotel. The free water in the lobby is a nice touch in the summer. The hotel is located in the historic former Kaufman’s Department Store Building. Central location in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.
Gym equipment in kamer,
Location the the concert was perfect. We had some food and drinks at the bar area it was all good. The room was clean and the air conditioning was cold! Crisp white sheets on the bed. Cute coffee machine was pods.
Can use a bigger trash can.
The hotel occupies the 5th and 6th floors of a converted early 1900s landmark building just off the historic “Wall Street of Pittsburgh”. Although the building is old, the common spaces and the rooms are modern and updated
Good security as a downtown hotel, with the street level entrance requiring a keycard or the front desk has to buzz you in through a camera
The rooms are nice and have a unique workout area in the room. There is a yoga mat, yoga blocks, yoga ball, and straps with handles connected to a vertical beam in front of a full length mirror. Haven’t come across that before after staying at many hotels across the world
There’s still a nice on-site fitness room too and bar/restaurant. No pool though if you’re looking for one
Location was great, walking distance to so much fun - restaurants, bars, shopping, historic walks looking at the skyscrapers of the early 1900s, short distance to the rivers and bridges and the sports stadiums.
Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when in Pittsburgh
The room size
I was extremely disappointed during my stay as no trash was collected and there was no towel change. I called 0 for service, but no one bothered to show up.
