The room size
I was extremely disappointed during my stay as no trash was collected and there was no towel change. I called 0 for service, but no one bothered to show up.

Loved the staff and the clean, bright and minimalist feel of the hotel and my room. Very quiet too. The bathroom was a great size and really clean.
The only thing (and this isn't just this hotel really), is that it would be nice to have a separate kettle for hot water for tea. Too many times making tea through a Keurig just tastes too much of coffee. Honestly, that's it!
The complementary breakfast was excellent. The location was right in the middle of everything in downtown Pittsburgh. It was a brisk walk to the riverfront and to Market Square.
The distance from the elevators to my room was long. I felt like i walked two or three blocks inside the hotel to get there.
It’s a beautiful historic house, with the best, most welcoming caretakers.

The hotel is large and clean. We had a huge room, included sports equipment so we could work out.
The mattress was also very comfortable. For breakfast, you choose from a menu, and food was very good.
We had an issue with the safe in our room. We asked for a technician to fix it and even had to go down to the reception to remind them. Eventually, the technician arrived, but he simply told us that he couldn't fix it. It was disappointing that the problem wasn't resolved.
Clean and lots of amenities
Inner courtyard rooms are dim, ac unit close to the bed and very loud and blows directly on you, 5th floor inner rooms adjacent the track are awkward due to windows being exactly at ground level and dark.
