The staff was amazing and very helpful!
Lage super. Für einen Zwischenstopp zu empfehlen. Frühstück konnte man aus der Karte auswählen und war gut. Sogar mit Porzellan Geschirr.
Close to everything we wanted to do
Only have one elevator very long wait. It was hot in downstairs waiting for elevator and it was hot in lobby. Never brought clean towels or picked up garbage. Not enough cans for our garbage
I was excited to stay in this location because of it's historical roots. My grandmother worked in this building for many years, and I worked there for about a year. I couldn't wait to see the transformation into a hotel. After a long wait for an elevator, I finally arrived at the fifth floor entrance and was warmly greeted. Throughout my stay, I received excellent customer service. When I was able to reach my room, after another wait for an elevator, I was pleased. Even with a nice sized gym, the workout equipment in the room was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and there were a good number of outlets to plug in. There is a garage next to the building where you can park for about $30 a night. However, since I arrived back at the hotel quite late each night and had to report to conference activities early in the morning, I luckily found street parking right near the entrance to the garage that worked. Overall my stay was fine, and if you're in town for something taking place in downtown Pittsburgh, the location is very convenient.
I was disappointed in the fact that there was only one working elevator, and with only two floors for the hotel, the elevator wait time was frustrating at times because of my very tight schedule. In addition, I was surprised to find the quality of the towels I was provided was quite poor. One had stains and the other was tattered. I left them on the floor the first night to be replaced, but came back to discover them still there that night. I know many hotels are being eco-friendly and have different policies about cleaning rooms and changing linens during stays, but it was clear no one came in my room to do any cleaning, even though I did not indicate I did not want any service during my stay. If this is a policy for certain lengths of stay, then I missed signage in my room. This also makes me wonder about the price of my stay with no cleaning or breakfast included.
The parking garage made us pay even though I had QR code from hotel.
Downtown good location. Breakfast better than most hotels but at additional cost.
Parking across sreeet in lot so not convenient to move luggage. No dedicated parking for lodging and unloading for guests. Check in not on street level.
Very clean and safe
The elevators
The staff was very helpful and caring.
Nothing
Check In staff were friendly. Room was adequate size and was clean.
Hotel setup is odd. A/C went on and off all night - noise and temperature change made for a terrible night’s sleep. Fire alarm went off at 6:30am and 7:05am. We evacuated the building the first time. There was zero apology from staff for this. Then we went to the breakfast we paid extra for and it was awful.
Room size, yoga stuff in the room, gym, really in the downtown
Room service cleaning, it took too long to get breakfast after ordening it break (till 50 min) and, when I asked one dish w/o salt added, I got it full of salt however
Location, facilities, gym, favoured water, coffee
Waiting time for breakfast. Made to order breakfast took about 50-60 minutes regardless of arrival time.
Great location. Very nice staff. Excellent exercise room. Smartly decorated
All was excellent
The location was perfect! Having the parking garage directly across the street was even better! Having the Arepa place right across the street was also even better!
Also, the beds! Even locations have the best beds and pillows, I SWEAR!
The only noticeable thing was housekeeping. We typically don't need housekeeping during our stays anywhere but this time the restroom tissue box was low on our first night. We could've asked but figured housekeeping would replace.
My wife remembers reading something on the door tag saying to remove the do not disturb door tag by 2AM the night before if you needed housekeeping. We always leave the tag on overnight because we tend to sleep in and don't want to be bothered.
We did always see housekeeping when leaving but it seems like they'd do a few run throughs. One early morning and one time around the middle of the day 12-2 PM. Not a huge deal but it did seem odd.
The only other "issue" was downtown noise. Not an issue for us... it was just city/people/downtown noise, but we could see some people losing their minds. lol. Just something to note.
