Pros:

Very friendly and welcoming staff, a great location, and within walking distance of the funicular to Hrebienok.
The laundry service was very convenient and helpful.
A delicious and indulgent breakfast, and lots of games and activities for children. We really enjoyed our stay!

Dobry hotel, w przystępnej cenie, z przestronnymi pokojami, obfitym śniadaniem, miłą obsługą, czysty, blisko wszystkiego co ważne w Smokovcu Nowym lub Starym, a co chyba dla nas najważniejsze, akceptujący psy, co w okolicy okazało się wcale nie takie oczywiste, szczególnie w okazałych apartementowcach, co których wcale nie warto zaglądać. Cozy little hotel, with nice staff, and great breakfast
Pros:

The hotel was easy to find and offered free parking. Check-in was easy and quick; the receptionist was really nice and gave us a warm welcome.
Our room was nice and spacious, clean, with a smaller but good bathroom. What I really liked in our room was that there were enough storage options and a very comfy armchair. The bed was good, the mattress still firm, the pillow was nice and fluffy, but if you prefer smaller ones, just request one.
The morning buffet didn't have a giant selection, but there were always eggs, sausage, fresh fruits and veggies, and cold cuts.
We also tried the dinner offered one night; it was simple but warming, with soup, multiple main courses, and a dessert - all Slovakian national dishes.
Overall, I would recommend this place; great value for price.

Cons:

Although the breakfast options were great, a bit more variety could have been added to the milk selection eg: lactose free milk or plant-based. Also, there are not many plant-based options either.
One other minor issue was that in our bathroom you couldn't open the window; there was a ventilation system in place, but after taking a bath it took a long time to let all the steam out.
Also, the walls are quite thin, so we could hear children in the room next to ours.
