Hard to get to without a car, we came by train and the buses were difficult to figure out, staff was not able to help with knowledge about bus stops.
We came at the end of September and the weather was beautiful (mid 70’s) but we were unable to use the pool or paddle boards because the hotel insisted it was not the season to use them and they didn’t have a lifeguard available, despite the Expedia listing saying these would be available until October.
All together the accommodations at the hotel itself were excellent but there wasn’t much to do at the hotel and it was difficult to get to nearby towns which have things to see and do.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Domizia. The staff are incredible! They provided the best service and were so helpful. The hotel is more of a boutique hotel so it wasn’t crowded with people. We loved the pool and private beach area. It was fantastic to have beach chairs to ourselves with an um real everyday steps away from the bar. They have excellent cocktails and delicious food options. The complimentary breakfast was very good (buffet style). We tried their restaurant and you can get just as good food with better portions in the nearby Porto Santo Stefano (8 min drive) for a much better price. Only other comment was that the rooms are quite small but the amazing views they have made it all worthwhile. Absolutely will stay here again!

Beautiful place, stunning views and great food.
Pros:

Wonderful place, could use a shuttle service to town, we would go back. The location for chilling by the water was really good, not much around without a car, but it’s a nice destination in itself. Quintessential Italian in all the good ways.

Beautifully located hotel
Pros:

Wonderful property right next to the sea. Loungers are located in a large grass area and the same space is allocated throughout yout stay, which is great. Steps down to the sea, a fair sized heated pool, a very good bar and bistro and with access to a SUP and Kayak. Bar/bistro team were excellent, particularly the bar manager who made his own oyster gin and the restaurant manager was warm and friendly too. The breakfast and dinner team in the main restaurant were not very warm and friendly and made no attempt to engage during 5 nights, maybe a language issue but I wish they were better as the food was excellent. Other restaurants are a drive from the hotel, recommend Porto Ercole in the evening.

Beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable and very spacious. Lovely views, excellent breakfasts. Ate dinner at the hotel both nights we stayed as a wonderful setting and delicious food. Would thoroughly recommend. Easy access to sea from grass ‘beach’.
