Pros:

Nice room, spacious.

Cons:

Bathroom had zero amenities. I charged my phone overnight but something must have been wrong with the outlet as it didn’t charge at all.

Overpriced and underdelivered, with undisclosed amenity closures and a cheap room service

My stay at Hotel Per La, Autograph Collection was disappointing from start to finish. One of the reasons I chose this property was the chic coffee lounge that was prominently featured in the hotel's marketing and amenities. Unfortunately, it was closed due to filming during my stay, and this was never disclosed prior to arrival or at check-in.

I was also surprised by the room service experience. Considering the prices charged, having meals delivered in a brown paper bag with to-go containers and plastic silverware felt more like takeout delivery than room service at a boutique hotel.

When a hotel markets premium amenities and experiences, guests should be informed when those amenities are unavailable. The experience simply did not match the expectations set by the hotel's advertising or pricing.

Pros:

Clean, quiet. Rooftop pool. Food at restaurant.

Cons:

Location is sketchy. Dark themed hallways and corridors. Like a W hotel decorated for Victorian era. Shower is like a fire hose. Entrance is a maze...why is it so meandering???

Overall a very good hotel, very comfortable and clean, great food at the roof terrace restaurant. Would stay here again,

An older hotel with spacious rooms, great bathrooms, lots of character. In fact during our stay a film was being shot at the hotel, which made the main restaurant and on-site cafe unavailable but the roof terrace bar/restaurant was open for breakfast and lunch, and was lovely with great views. The location is great, the staff super-helpful, and walking distance from great restaurants and The Last Bookstore and the LA Main library, and an easy drive/ride to LA Symphony Hall, the Broad Museum and others. I personally preferred this hotel to the super modern ones like the Omni (although the Omni is truly great as well). Great value for downtown LA.

Cons:

As I mentioned earlier, the filming at the time restricted some facilities (including the gym), and the WiFi was not great this time compared to a previous stay. Maybe also related to the filming? We had two rooms: one was quite dark and we thought of asking for an extra lamp but our son preferred it that way, do we switched rooms. Ours was very well lit and very large, but a bit loud with street noise
(on second floor). They did provide ear plugs in every room.

Pros:

La propreté du lieu est irréprochable et le personnel est très patient et sympa

Cons:

Il n’y a qu’un valet Le parking qui est au prix de 72$ la journée nous avons trouvé ça très cher. Donc nous nous sommes garé dans un parking en face de l’hôtel qui était au prix de 40$ la journée ce qui reste tout de même très cher mais toujours mieux que 72$ !
