Violet Star Hotel and Spa

Staff greeted me warmly and check-in was very quick. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't spend much time inside because there is so much to do around the hotel.

If you're coming to Saigon to party, this is a very convenient place. Bars and food are literally around the corner. It can be noisy outside, so I'd think twice if you're someone who wakes up easily from street music.

Clean room, good shower, comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi. Reception was available whenever I needed help. No complaints from me.

Booked this mainly for the location and it delivered. Bui Vien is right nearby, with loads of food and bars around. Very convenient for a few days in the city.

I wanted somewhere where I could go out at night without worrying about getting transportation back. This was perfect. There is some nightlife noise, but I expected that when booking a hotel next to Bui Vien.

If nightlife is one of your reasons for coming to Saigon, this location is hard to beat. Bui Vien is right there. It can be noisy around the street-facing rooms, but that's the trade-off for being in the centre of the nightlife.

Had a very straightforward stay. Check-in was easy, staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The shower was also better than expected.

Good little base for exploring the city. Everything I needed was nearby and the staff helped me with directions when I got confused. Room was simple and clean.

Really enjoyed the location. Step outside and you're immediately surrounded by food, bars, shops and people. It has a young and lively atmosphere. If you like nightlife, you'll probably enjoy staying here. If you need complete silence at night, this probably isn't the kind of location you're looking for.

You can walk almost everywhere from here. Plenty of food around and lots of things happening at night. The building is close to Bui Vien, so it is not the place for someone extremely sensitive to noise, but for me the location was excellent.

I booked because of the location and price and ended up being pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and working properly. The rooftop was also a nice place to relax.
