Nice hotel, good value for money, good location. Unfortunate timing being in the middle of a heatwave!
Pros:

Good sized room, with comfortable beds. Nice bar and outside seating area.

Cons:

It was very hot when we stayed and the room was very very warm (no AC). The noise from the road was quite loud all night.

Cons:

It was really hot during our stay and though we were able to open the window, there was no way to keep it open.

The shower head badly needs cleaning as it was just mainly dribbling out but also spraying all over the bathroom resulting in the whole room including clothing, toilet rolls and towels getting wet through. We had to mop the floor up with the towels. Also the temperature control on the shower makes no difference if you try to alter it! Should have been checked before we were booked into the room as it was unusable!

The milk needs to be kept cool during the breakfast period as warm milk and cereals are not a good mix.

Pros:

I was a lovely large room very clean, continental breakfast was very good quality ham and cheese, everything you'd want.great location friendly staff.

Cons:

Only done side was wedding disco we were directly above, we'd have preferred a later check out so we could have, had a lie in 😆.

Traditional hotel in convenient spot
Pros:

Very convenient location. Traditional hotel with small number of rooms and attached conference facilities. Continental breakfast included which we didn't expect.

Cons:

Lack of water pressure - tried to run bath but it would have taken 15 minutes to fill.

Pros:

A very nice hotel , walking distance from the town centre . The room was comfortable.

Cons:

Sadly this was a major issue which I took up with the General Manager . The buffet breakfast was what could only be called a disgrace. Very little food available , we complained at the time to the member of staff we could find . T o be told the kitchen was bare yes that's correct . Add insult to injury some of the fruit that was available had mould on it ( blueberries ) I delayed these comments as we were offered a full breakfast refund however as yet this is still not been forthcoming .

Just about everything about the stay. Staff excellent . Hotel and surrounds really nice . Breakfast very good .
