How was the breakfast?

The breakfast needs improvement. The selection was very basic, and every morning there seemed to be a different issue. The coffee machine was often out of service or empty, there were frequently no cups available, and one morning there was no coffee at all. Although staff members were present, no one seemed to be checking or restocking the breakfast area. Even the Brie cheese was served in a way that made it stick to the plate, making it difficult to serve. A little more attention to detail would make a big difference.

The location was excellent—very convenient and one of the best parts of our stay.

What didn't you like?

The staff was always friendly, smiling, and polite, but it felt like they weren't trained to the standard you would expect from a higher-end hotel. They were present, yet the breakfast area often went unattended, and issues such as the coffee machine, empty supplies, or missing cups were not addressed promptly.

The rooms were very clean, which we appreciated. However, the air conditioning was uncomfortable because it was directed straight toward the bed. No matter where you slept, the cold air blew directly on you. Then the system would stop until the room became warm again, so the temperature constantly shifted between too cold and too warm.

The other downside was the soundproofing. This is probably more of a building design issue than a maintenance problem, but the walls are very thin. If you have noisy neighbors, you'll hear almost everything—from conversations and sneezing to chairs being moved.

What did you like?

The location was excellent and by far one of the hotel's biggest advantages. It was very convenient, and the rooms were clean throughout our stay.

I had an excellent stay at the AC Hotel Cleveland Beachwood and it truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team stood out. Both check-in and check-out were handled professionally and warmly, making me feel genuinely welcomed.

As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I pay close attention to recognition, and this property did it right. I felt appreciated throughout my stay, especially with the complimentary breakfast, room credit, and free parking, which added real value.

Breakfast was a highlight thanks to Rayetta, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel personal. In the evening, Parker at the bar delivered great service as well, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Overall, this was a standout stay with a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. I would absolutely return and recommend this property to others.

Beautiful property
Pros:

Great location !! Nearby shopping mall and also close to Mayfield Heights. Great service as well though housekeeping staff can do a better job !! It was snowing in Cleveland and thus the location made a big difference

Quiet Overnight Stay
Pros:

My son and I stayed one night while visiting Cleveland. I used points for the night which was only 13,500. Hotel is upscale in appearance, very quiet overall. It is located near many upscale shopping and restaurant options. Parking is free in deck behind hotel. Our room overlooked the shops below.

We had breakfast the next morning nearby at First Watch but breakfast buffet was available at the hotel for $17 pp. This seemed quite reasonable except the only hot options were scrambled eggs and sausage. The did offer free coffee and tea each morning.
I felt the location was quite nice and the points required very low for what we experienced. I would consider staying there again if in the area.
