Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef

The staff is not at all friendly, they have this jugmental when you have dark skin specially someone called Ali and the surrounding people is not friendly at all.

Avi was more than great. The stay was great and breakfast was lovely also the vibes were good. Definitely i would recommend the place and definitely coming again.

Ananshi provided an exceptional dining experience with her warm, attentive, and professional service. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a genuine smile and ensured we felt comfortable throughout our visit. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and patiently answered all our questions. Our orders were taken accurately, and everything was served promptly with great attention to detail. Ananshi frequently checked on us without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude and dedication truly stood out and added great value to our meal. She is a true asset to the team.

I am currently staying at this hotel, and my room number is 410. This is the fifth time I have stayed here, and I really did not want to leave a negative review, but everything was so bad this time that I felt forced to do so.
From the moment I arrived, I had an unpleasant experience. I was expecting a warm welcome, which did not happen.
Every year we used to come here because the hotel had a Christmas tree, but tonight we saw that there was no Christmas tree at all. This hotel completely ruined our holiday.
I do not recommend this hotel at all,
The room I booked was based on my previous experiences and was labeled as “Premium,” but I later realized that it was not actually a premium room. It should have been clearly stated on the website that the room was without a view. As a result, I was forced to change my room from Premium to Standard and waste my money.
Due to these issues, I will no longer choose this hotel.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at this hotel. It completely ruined my holiday. If the information on the website had been accurate, I would have gladly chosen to stay here again, but under these circumstances, I do not recommend this hotel at all, because it really let me down.

Stafoss restaurant was a very nice and tastefull experrience. Food was from upmost quality served by a very dedicated team.
The way Shital. Sabina & Anashi run the service in the restaurant brings it all to higher level.

Loved the location for being away from the hustle bustle of downtown, but easily accessible. Nice spot on the Creek with the Skafos restaurant and the Souq at its doorstep. Especially enjoyed the friendly staff from housekeeping to front desk to the army of staff creating the actual house size gingerbread house. The staff were amazing and made our stay more pleasant!

Overall atmosphere is more like industrial design

It was great hear we really enjoyed our stay. The support we got from the frontline desk of Sarah, Asmita, rakib, Sulaiman and Avi as well as Patrick and the entire staff from the FNB and concierge was massive and we really appreciate that. It made us feel home.

Thanks to Deria also for making our life easier. We will continue to refer our South African friends to check in with your hotel.

This is a hidden treasure, I hated to leave every thing is there. You can get the boat to take you to the Gold souk. The staff is amazing and the room are very comfortable and clean. This will be my go to hotel when I go to Dubai. Thanks for a wonderful time. One more thing the breakfast Awesome.

Food was delicious...chicken wings always the best.

A difficult one to review as we have very mixed feelings about the hotel.

Good points:-
Handy location near the creek and souk.
Really good staff - generally great service.
Rooftop pool area was a great place to relax.
Excellent breakfast buffet.
Spacious public areas.

For us the main disappointment was the room.
Generally far too dark. The rear half of the room was painted matt black which sucked in light, and there simply wasn't enough lighting in the room, particularly by the wardrobe, mirror and suitcase shelves.
The whole room felt like design over function, for example there are no bedside tables just a ledge behind the bed which you have to open to access power sockets. Not the best use of space as the bed sits in the middle of the room. No other useful table in the room.

Also, the corridors are also matt black, which gives a very gloomy appearance.

We ate twice in Chapters - the food was good on both occasions, but the second time it took and age to arrive and the server had to apologise.

Food in the main restaurant, Skafos, was excellent (reviewed separately).

We stayed at Canopy by Hilton for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel has a classy and modern vibe, yet still feels warm and welcoming. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are spotless and very well-maintained.

The biggest highlight is definitely the location right by the creek, making it convenient to explore and enjoy the views. There are several restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was decent, though a bit basic compared to what you’d expect from a hotel of this calibre.

Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and we’d happily return for the great location and inviting atmosphere.

We have a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.
Especially the breakfast (especially mention to Udatta). which offered a great selection and fresh options every morning. The location was also ideal, close to some attractions but quiet to relax.

We were graciously welcomed by Abbas at 2 o’clock in the morning at the Canopy. With great thoughtfulness, he showed us several rooms to ensure we could choose the one that suited us best, as the room we had originally requested was occupied. He carried our luggage to the room with a warm smile — a courtesy that reflects the kindness of so many members of the Canopy team.

At breakfast thanks to Jibon who was also consistently warm, attentive, and wonderfully efficient. The buffet is truly excellent.

Our sincere thanks as well to Elias and Nischal at Sol Sky for the excellent Maï-Taï. It is always a pleasure to enjoy a meal while watching the creek and the boats gliding by.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire front desk team for their continuous assistance.

After a long travel day with a 6-hour flight delay, we arrived at Canopy by Hilton, Al Seef around 9:30 pm, exhausted and loaded with luggage. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. Rakib at reception welcomed us with warmth and efficiency, swiftly checking us into our rooms and making us feel instantly at ease.

The rooms were fantastic—stylish, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with great amenities. The tub was a standout feature, offering the perfect way to unwind after long, sweaty days exploring Dubai.

Throughout our stay, Ashmita at reception was absolutely fabulous. She handled our many little requests with patience and grace, always making sure we had what we needed.

Breakfast each morning was a delight—generous, varied, and delicious. It was the perfect fuel for our adventures.

And we can’t forget the pool bar on the 7th floor! Pasindu and his team were brilliant, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Pasindu’s Old Fashioned was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—expertly crafted and unforgettable.

This hotel truly delivered on comfort, service, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai and looking for a stylish, welcoming base in the heart of Al Seef.

My room was beautiful with a hammock in the room and a beautiful view of the lake and boats.

Juwel (Housekeeping) was lovely. Very pleasant and couldn't do enough for me.

I booked this as a half board, so breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was plentiful and varst. I liked that breakfast finished at 11am so I didn't have to get up early just to eat.

The dinner was good. It had flavour. My only complaint was the menu was quite limited because I was half board. It would have been nice to have a bit more on the menu or allow me to have up to a certain amount on the other menu. If I was staying for a week I would have been very bored with the food.

Overall as a solo black female travelling here it was a really nice trip and the people were friendly. I didn't feel uneasy at anytime even when walking to a mall which was about 15 - 20 mins from my hotel.

I would come again to this hotel and to Dubai.

Kine and shiral were nice. Food could definitely improve. Overall good experience. View is the best though. Would recommend.
