Nett aber kein Must-Visit
Pros:

Pool ist cool. Hängematten Lounge ist nett. Gute Surfer Infrastruktur mit Boardplatz und Außenküche. Begrüßungsgetränk.

Cons:

Viele Privaträume, wenig Hostelcharakter. Getränke und Speisen sind sehr teuer und zumindest die Speisen nicht herausragend. Personal ist nicht besonders Serviceorientiert oder freundlich.

Pros:

We stayed at Michanti for 8 nights and it was a great place to relax after a couple of weeks travelling. The hotel itself is not super big but there‘s a lot of different areas to hang out - including a pool with perfectly refreshing water temperature. The staff is nice, breakfast good and there‘s occassional free activities. We stayed at the Queensize room with kitchen and terrace and enjoyed it a lot. It was spacious and clean and had a strong AC.

Cons:

We had thought that free activities are offered more often and it does say so in the booklet on the rooms. Nevertheless, in the time we stayed, there was one pilates class and one movie night.
Something that hasnt influenced my rating, but worth mentioning: As El Zonte is a growing tourist destination, there‘s construction sites everywhere and therefore according noise.

10/10 hotel!
Pros:

Everything!! The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. Great pool area, restaurant and plenty of areas to relax. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Great location very close to beach and shops. Would 100% recommend!
