Hotel Hofgarten ist ein Hotel, was ich immer wieder gerne buchen werde.
Pros:

Ich war nun schon zum dritten Mal im Hotel Hofgarten, die Lage und die öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung sind super. Die Zimmer einfach aber sehr sauber, was mir mit am Allerwichtigsten ist. Das barocke Viertel, in dem das Hotel liegt, ist wunderschön, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (großer Supermarkt am Albertplatz, 7 Gehminuten) und Lokale sind in der Nähe und zur Frauenkirche ect. kommt man auch schnell mit der Straßenbahn (hinterm Hotel) oder zu Fuß in ca. 15-20 Min. Das Frühstück bietet alles an, was man zu einem Tagesstart benötigt.

Cons:

Zum Wachwerden könnte der Frühstückskaffee etwas stärker sein :o)

I'll definitely return!
Pros:

I like the location, and how quiet it is, although I heard the person in the adjoining room/bathroom.
It is so easy to get to and is right by the tram. Getting to/from the center is super easy.
The girl at the front desk/reception is super friendly and helpful.
You can hang out in the reception after check out.
I didn't have time for breakfast, but it's available.

Cons:

This time, the bed was not comfortable and the television didn't work.
The wifi did not work on my tablet or phone, but it did work on my computer. That was kind of weird.
There are only stairs to the 3rd floor, but that wasn't really a problem for me.
The lights are super dim.

Lovely property with good families in a quiet location

Very nice hotel with good facilities, quiet location but a reasonable walk or short tram ride to the centre of Dresden.

Pros:

The hotel is at a very convenient location right next to the Neustadt station and several tram lines. The lady at the reception is very friendly. The room is basic, but with plenty of space.

Cons:

The heaters are turned up very high by default. The digital thermostat sems to reset itself to a higher temperature whenever one turns the heat down.

Echt schlechtes Hotel für diesen Preis

Kein Schrank vorhanden
Zimmer unter dem Dach war nur durch viele Treppen zu erreichen

Cons:

Das Zimmer zu finden, war etwas kompliziert. Da wir den ganzen Tag im Zug sassen, konnte ich das letzte Mail nicht lesen. Ohne diese Information brauchten wir etwas Zeit, bis wir die richtige Türe fanden. Nachher war alles prima.
