Our family (my wife, son, and I) had a wonderful weekend stay at Forte Kochi, and it turned out to be one of those places you remember long after you've checked out.

The hotel beautifully balances heritage with comfort. Every corner has been restored and designed with great taste, creating a cozy atmosphere without losing its old-world charm. Its location couldn't be better—right in the heart of Fort Kochi, with art galleries, cafés, museums, and the vibrant streets just a short walk away.

What stood out the most, however, was the people. I won't single out any individual because the entire team deserves the credit. Every interaction came with a genuine smile, warmth, and an eagerness to help. Service here didn't feel scripted—it felt sincere.

I've stayed at many luxury hotels where, at times, the sophistication can unintentionally create a sense of distance. Forte Kochi was refreshingly different. The team was humble, approachable, and down-to-earth, yet incredibly professional. Everyone seemed to take personal ownership of ensuring guests had a memorable experience, regardless of their role.

The food was excellent, the property was spotless, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.

If you're looking for a place that combines heritage, comfort, outstanding food, and genuinely heartfelt hospitality, I couldn't recommend Forte Kochi more highly.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, room was very spacious, clean and charming. Very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and free afternoon snacks by the pool. Staff are exceptional

Lovely friendly staff in a clean, quiet but very central location in old town area.

So we chose this Paul John property because we were staying at the kumarakom lake resort prior to this and we were so so impressed by it we were hundred percent sure this was also going to be a memorable experience. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case at all. The staff though kind and polite and kept checking on us the hotel in itself had several short comings. A part of the restaurant was under renovation which meant every morning the breakfast available was the cold breakfast including cereals and baked stuff which was really of substandard quality. For a so called luxury hotel to have a worn out toaster was border line embarrassing.. There was the option of ordering ur own hot breakfast but even that came cold (chutneys were not fresh and came straight out of the refrigerator ice cold which was really disappointing). The paneer dish we ordered was stale and needed to be returned.
The property has so much potential and the location is so great but just seems like a completely wasted opportunity. The staff is really undertrained to be honest and had no insight on the various attractions nearby or not able to provide any kind of real guidance expect for the usual small talk which seemed forced, unnecessary and quite a jarring contrast to their other property. Will not recommend.

The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and outstanding service. I look forward to visiting again.

This was my second stay at Forte Kochi, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. My partner and I truly enjoyed our relaxing stay. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made our visit memorable. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We were stayed in the Hotel for 3 Nights, it was truly exceptional. From the moment we were arrived we got excellent Service. The rooms are spacious and Staffs are so friendly..

Everything, the location, the building, the style, the service, the food, really everything was beyond my expectations. it's such a beautiful building and has immense history within, the staff was all very attentive and friendly as well as professional, perfect location, steps away from the beaches and main areas
