Perfect location, perfect hospitality!
Pros:

The beautiful, attentive and kind staff. So many staff made our stay wonderful, particularly Akash, Lakshipriya, Sujitha. The 2 gentleman at reception were fabulous but i can't remember their names.
Every morning we were greeted warmly as we were seated for our delicious breakfast that had a great range of western and Indian options.
During our stay we ate many times in the restaurant as their were a lot of options and it was so convenient after a long day.
We enjoyed the free morning tour and then paid for a longer tour with Rajesh (rajesh_fortkochi_tours). What an interesting place and such interesting, rich history. He was so accommodating, and even helped us with some shopping (as requestedby us - he didn'thave this as the tour), taking us to some great shops where the locals go.
We stayed 5 nights - wish it was longer, we would have loved more time sitting beside the beautiful pool. The rooms are stunning, the tiles are beautiful and the wood work beautiful. The bathroom products smell gorgeous.
The wifi worked well, the airport transfer at midnight was such a relief to have sorted through the hotel prior.

Pros:

Amazing location, curated artifacts and room decor. Breakfast choices were very good, both local and western options. Further a la carte choices are also available at Jetty Restaurant.

Cons:

Poster beds creek slightly. Mattress is super comfortable though.

Unfortunately unbelievable sharing my bed with bedbugs!

The location was good and walkable to get around

Cons:

The cleanliness was very questionable I found bedbugs in my bed the bathroom had black mold growing in the shower area. The staff were very dismissive and did not even try and help sort it out. I am paying five star rates and getting 1 star service I did not expect to share my luxury bed with bedbugs! Unbelievable and very distressing as I did not sleep the whole two nights because I felt like I was being crawled upon. This was supposed to be a solo treat for me for my birthday and it ended up being a nightmare! I expect some sort of compensation and consideration especially finding bedbugs and mold!

The staff were nice and helpful

Cons:

I travelled with my son and we both developed severe food poisoning which we are assuming is from the hotel room water. We were travelling internationally the next day and the flight experience was terrible thanks to this..this is the reason for the very low score..please make sure this doesn't happen to any other guests
