Beautiful area

We really enjoyed our stay, our host Klaus was very friendly and hospitable. He treated us to a beverage of choice which we enjoyed on the terrace. The room was bright and had everything we needed. The breakfast had a large variety of fresh and tasty options. We would be delighted to stay again given the opportunity.

Fantastic place! Klaus is a wonderful host and the hotel is well designed, clean and overall a lovely space in a beautiful part of the world. Reasonably priced also particularly when considering the quality of the place. Totally recommend!

Lovely host, extremely clean and a wonderful breakfast!

The property was fine. The room and the view were great. The problem was the manager was not there at the agreed-upon time and we had to sit outside on the porch and wait for him to show up. If another couple had not shown up we would not have known how to contact him Because my phone was not working properly

We had a lovely two night stay at this lovely hotel. It’s centred very conveniently in Klotten with wonderful views of hills and the Mosel. Had a nice meal in the restaurant the first evening. Would highly recommend to stay here.

Fantastisk lille hyggeligt hotel, vi havde valgt det til en enkelt overnatning på hjemrejsen, men vi ville have ønsket vi kunne have tage nogle flere dag.

Klaus is a great host and runs a very nice guest house. It's very close to Cochem, only a 7 minutes drive and can be walked in 45 minutes. Don't be thrown off by the fact that the train tracks are right in front of the building, you can't even hear it! The fact that the train stops right in front of the guesthouse is convenient if you want to take the train to continue your travels.

Its a warm and a cozy property with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Its very clean and away from the maddening crowd, which is what we prefer. The location is extremely convenient, right on the Klotten Railway station and hence its very well connected as well. It was a perfect get away from a city and the wine culture and the beautiful surroundings makes it doubly pretty. Just that we would have loved it more if there were a few more eating options on Mondays and Tuesdays in the Klotten village, but that apart, it was absolutely fantastic.

We stayed only one night but next time we will stat longer. Its a wonderful place, great breakfast and great dinner. The rooms are spacious and very modern.

Beautiful clean room which was much larger than I expected. Really lovely. And the food was really good too. A really pleasant stay.

Klaus was a great host. We stayed in the Riesling apartment. Klaus caters to the motorcycle community and the rooms were more than we expected. The room had air conditioning (very nice, since AC is not common in Germany). The AC was very quiet and the room had dishes, stove, coffee maker, oven, fridge and freezer. It had everything we needed and included a beautiful view of the Mosel river. Very clean and the blankets were fluffy and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and fresh. They even had a server and cook who could make fresh eggs or whatever you'd like. Walking distance to many restaurants. The only disappointment was there were no grocery stores within walking distance, so bring groceries with you if you plan to cook. There are castle ruins and vineyards right behind the property. We would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay! Was greeted with a welcome beverage of choice which was a welcome surprise indeed! The host was extremely friendly, guided us with precise directions to a terrific restaurant for supper and even made the reservations for us. It was amazing!
The rooms are spotlessly clean, and comfortable. There is a lovely outdoor terrace on first and second floors that was well used. Many other guests, and the host himself, elected to stay out and the ambience was lovely. Candles brought out when the sun went down, very nice!
The town is small, but wonderful to walk through and people were very friendly.
Breakfast is available as a buffet and you could request ie eggs, bacon, etc. It was fantastic, all the bread so fresh, eggs perfect, fresh fruit salad, croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, and great coffee, etc.
Would go back tomorrow if my calendar allowed!

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and good location. Despite being close to the railway this was hardly noticed and after a good night sleep we could enjoy a day in nearby Cochem. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed - we have to come back as we have high expectations. We are glad it will be brilliant.
