Pros:

Just completed our annual snow trip to Buller. We stayed in a family room. Big room (for the snow) with breakfast included. Amazing location at the top of Bourke St. Proper ski in/out.
And the Double cheseburger on their menu is legit!
We'll definitely be coming back.

The staff were very helpful and always had a smile, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel room was clean and warm. Position of hotel on the mountain was perfect!! Will be back!!

It’s on the ski field, warm rooms, fast internet, 4K tv, great cafe and bar food, pool tables for kids, warm locker for skis… the ski hire in the hotel is well managed and affordable. Staff are super friendly.

The Arlberg is perfectly located for a family trip to the snow. The staff are friendly and helpful, there were food and drinks options for all the family and the communal areas were welcoming. Prices were typical of a ski resort, our room size was reflective of the low budget option we chose and there was no facility to charge food & drink back to the room.

Ambivalent service, dirty rooms. Good spot.
Pros:

The location is fantastic and the staff are friendly if somewhat ambivalent. The waitstaff in the hotel restaurant don’t really know their menu and their attitude in general is rather ‘meh, whatever’. The buffet breakfast is very limited as is the dinner menu. The room was not clean and there was used soap in the shower with hair on it and something in the toilet (despite having a paper seal claiming it had been cleaned). But, if you’re happy to disregard that it’s in a great spot.
