Pros:

Fijne en ruime kamers met groot balkon, elke ochtend zeer uitgebreid ontbijt op balkon tegen kleine betaling maakte dat je dag heerlijk begon

Tolles kleines Hotel mit Aussicht

Gute Lage nah am Zentrum aber etwas abseits des Trubels. Toller Ausblick im 1. Und 2. Stock

Cons:

Einziges Manko:Wasserdruck in der Dusche war kaum vorhanden.

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen. Die Nine Arches Bridge ist in ca. 20min zu Fuss erreichbar, der Little Adams Peak in ca. 30min und die Zugstation von Ella in ca. 15min. Die Gastgeber sind enorm herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Zusätzlich hat uns das leckere Frühstück, welches man auf seiner Terrasse geniessen kann, sehr gefallen!

Aanrader! Alles dichtbij, comfortabel en heel vriendelijk!
Pros:

Comfortabel, hygiënisch verblijf en behulpzame en ‘warme’ familie. Ze hebben goede transfers geregeld en het ontbijt was fantastisch. De ligging is erg centraal (hierdoor heb je wel ook wat geluid van de stad) en het balkon is ruim met privacy.
Kortom een aanrader!

Cons:

In de omgeving zijn er, ook heel vroeg, behoorlijk wat geluiden: moskee om 5:15 uur, honden en een dichtbij gelegen bouwplaats.

The staff were friendly and responsive when asked for help. The view of the Ella Rock was fabulous. There were good facilities from fridge, kettle and cloth hanger. The room was spacious and clean. The location was close to the city center, although it was on a hill and little steady to go up walking.

Cons:

There was no hot water for shower and the water pressure was low. Also, there was a constant unpleasant smell in the room, not sure due to what. I stayed in the first floor room.

Camera pulita, colazione abbondante e staff molto gentile.
Presenti zanzariere attorno ad ogni letto

Cons:

Adiacente alla struttura c’è un cantiere e tengono un povero cane legato con catena tutto il giorno, abbiamo purtroppo sentito abbaiare a tutte le ore.

Neu eingerichtetes Zimmer mit wunderschöner Aussicht vom Balkon, alles sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sehr nette Besitzer.

Cons:

Überall drumherum wird gerade gebaut, deshalb kann es zu Baulärm kommen. Auch lautes Hundebellen gab es früh morgens von einem Wachhund auf der Baustelle.

Well worth the walk up the hill !!!
Pros:

The room we stayed in was on the top and only a few months old. It is absolutely beautiful with 4 posted beds covered with quality mossie nets. The balcony is to die for and huge. It has a large dining table and chairs and a couple of wooden lounging chairs. It has expansive views over the valley and you can spot the train in the distance. Very quiet place.
The hosts are amazing and so helpful arranging tours and washing of clothes.
The breakfast is huge and delicious. By far exceeds other accomodation for similar money.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great location, nice room & big balcony, doors and sink need fixing
Pros:

- location is great, 5 minutes to the main road, close/walkable distance to Little Adam’s Peak & Nine Arches Bridge. We also hiked to Ella Rock from the homestay
- big balcony with a view on Ella Rock (blocked by a coconut tree but didn’t bother us)
- comfortable bed with mosquito net
- hot water shower

Cons:

- our front door was broken and only secured with a small lock
- the bathroom door was also broken and couldn’t be closed
- the sink tap was leaking

If these things get fixed, the room would be perfect.

On the hill
Pros:

Terrace with the view. Comfort beds. Price. They provide laundry service ( 800 lrk for 1 kg). Ella is cute little town.

Cons:

Homestay is on the very steep little hill. We were on the ground floor. The water pump is loud and if it is raining the noise is like in construction place - rain is hiting the metal plate above the bathroom window. You cant close the bathroom window.

We enjoyed the balocny with the nice view. Having breakfast there was just lovely. It was quite a lot though :-)
