The location, the restaurant on the premises, and the staff were great! The gym was good. The room was spacious and clean.
However, both of the queen beds in room 418 were horrible and sagging and we felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. Every pillow on the beds were lumpy and super thick and couldn’t be used. We hardly slept.
the distance to Red Rocks, that they had a shuttle service for pickup. Having a bar on location
The cost seemed high. The bed way to soft. Was hoping for a outdoor hot tub.
We stayed here for the convenience to Red Rocks, and it certainly is convenient. We did not like our stay here. The absolute basics - a clean, comfortable room with a functional bathroom - were not met. The mattress of the bed was stained and the pillows were horrendous, and I don't think I've ever had a problem with a hotel pillow. The water pressure in the shower was very weak almost to the point of being completely ineffective. They attempt to make the very worn down room cute with artwork, etc, and they supply nice bath products, but all of the bells and whistles are irrelevant when basic needs aren't effectively met. Also note that if you want to use the bus service to a concert, it doesn't leave until close to gate opening, so you can't get on line earlier. We signed up for the bus but ultimately opted not to take it for that reason. You will not get reimbursed if you make that mistake. We will not stay here again. Others love it though, so this is just our experience.
Bathroom light is not bright
This is a contemporary hotel close to the Red Rocks concert venue. There is a shuttle to take you there if you don't want to drive (about 3-4 miles, but concert parking at Red Rocks can be a hike) The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a small bar for drinks and socializing but not much seating area. But I never saw it full/busy. Fun to write with chalk on the wall by the elevators.
There is no drawers or room for your closes in the rooms. It's a hip cool vibe but no place to unpack really.
Cleaner than most
No breakfast
Excellent service & location!
Water pressure was insufficient
Staff was amazing, friendly, and gave great recommendations nearby. The location was super convenient for Red Rocks.
Staff was super friendly and the location was very convenient for Red Rocks
Closeness to the venue, pleasant staff
Windows couldn’t open, no proper AC
Location is convenient. Atmosphere is chill and fun. Rooms were nice however mattresses sucked! Rooms could use a microwave. Cleanliness of lobby and rooms were great, outside area needed someone to tidy the tables and grounds area. It would have been nice to have the big fire pit on in the evenings. Noise level was ok. Maybe a floor dedicated to young kids and babies would be nice. A baby woke us up around 3 a.m. Service was great. Amount of wait time in the restaurant was a bit long and we were confused if it was open due to waitress not being present for about 10 minutes after we sat ourselves. Food was excellent. We will stay again.
Vinnie is a great bartender!
No hand soap at sink - only shower gel, bathroom floors dirty (urine spots), no hooks in bathroom for clothes, lighting bad, house phone did not work for calls to the desk, restaurant opened 45 minutes late for lack of staff,
Location to Red Rocks Amphitheater
The room was secured through Booking and was grossly overpriced. Unfortunately, I didn’t price check this before the free cancellation date. I will do my due diligence before proceeding with using Booking.com
The stay was disappointing, especially considering the price. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy, and the room had multiple maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken cold water faucet in the bathroom. We brought these concerns to staff on the second day of our stay, but the response felt indifferent and dismissive.
The location is also fairly isolated. Nearby dining options were limited to a gas station, a mediocre coffee shop that closed early, and a brewery that never appeared to be open. The hotel restaurant also closed at 10 p.m. on weekdays, so guests arriving later in the evening should plan to eat elsewhere beforehand.
We chose this hotel because it was about $200 less expensive than where we stayed previously, but at roughly $1,300 for five nights, we still expected a far better experience. During a prior trip in September 2025, we stayed at Table Mountain Inn and had a significantly better experience overall. It was cleaner, the beds were far more comfortable, the restaurant stayed open later, and there were many dining options within walking distance. In the future, we would gladly pay the extra cost to stay there again instead
Staying at the Origin Red Rocks, a Wyndham Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere has this perfect blend of mountain lodge comfort and live music energy that makes you feel like you’re already part of the Red Rocks experience before you even step into the venue.
The live music at the hotel was fantastic and created such a fun, welcoming vibe in the evenings. Pair that with excellent drinks from the bar, and it became our favorite place to unwind after a show. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful the entire stay, the kind of people who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit.
The rooms were spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The location is also unbeatable. Being so close to Red Rocks made everything easy, and the convenient shuttle access took all the stress out of transportation and parking.
If you’re heading to a concert at Red Rocks, this is absolutely the place to stay. Cozy, lively, clean, and perfectly located. We’ll definitely be back.
We stayed at Origin Hotel Red Rocks during a windy night and our original room developed a strong gas/sewage smell. When we contacted the front desk, staff immediately knew what we were talking about and explained that high winds can close the flues and cause this issue in certain rooms.
To their credit, they did move us to another room quickly. However, it was concerning that this seemed to be a known and recurring problem rather than an isolated incident. There was also no acknowledgment of the inconvenience beyond the room change.
The hotel itself is stylish and the location near Red Rocks is great, but dealing with a gas/exhaust type smell in a guest room is not something travelers should have to worry about. I would strongly recommend the hotel permanently address the venting issue instead of treating it as a normal occurrence.
Slow service for restaurant, food was mid
