Pros:

Staff was very welcoming to us as we arrived. The hotel was clean and very well worth the money. Definitely will stay every time I'm in farmville VA.

We have been staying at the Weyanoke a few times a year since our daughter and son in law moved there 5 years ago. We love that the hotel is close to downtown. But this last time when we arrived at about 3:30, we were informed that check in wasn't until 4. At least 3 other parties arrived right after us and were immediately checked in with no problem. When I went back up to the desk I was told that they had to see about another room because ours still wasn't ready. Also the value you get for the hotel isn't good at all. When we first started staying there you had a free breakfast buffet. Now , you just pay for everything. I will be finding another hotel to stay at in the future.

Pretty place, but needs a few things...
Pros:

I like that the location was easy to walk to places in farmville.

Cons:

Our AC did not work properly and the room was very stuffy. Didn't sleep well. Wasn't told about breakfast, so didn't even know they had anything.

Pros:

The location was perfect. Didn't know about the breakfast, we went down the street for that. The bathroom and nice and roomy.

Cons:

The room was very nice but a bit dusty, especially above the bed and on the decorations. The rug was also a bit stained. When someone got up in the middle of the night the floor "snapped, crackled, and popped" waking up the rest of us.
