One of the most disappointing experiences I have encountered was with a supervisor who demonstrated unprofessional behavior, cancelled my reservation an hour prior to check-in, and claimed to have made multiple attempts to contact me, although I only received a single email notification requesting an update to my payment information, which I promptly addressed. Upon receiving the cancellation email, I immediately contacted the hotel front desk to inquire about the possibility of paying for the room over the phone, particularly given that my family and I were already in route to the hotel. The staff informed me that there was nothing they could do, as the room had been immediately rebooked following the cancellation of my reservation, with the supervisor stating that she “did not believe we would be suitable guests.” Had she actually made the claimed attempts to contact me, I would not be as dissatisfied with the situation. Finding a hotel in Myrtle Beach on short notice at a reasonable price and with acceptable standards proved challenging, and my children were looking forward to staying there. I sincerely hope that the supervisor's actions brought her satisfaction, despite her unprofessional demeanor.

Pros:

We stayed in the King Suite (City View) and it was wonderful. The staff was awesome; everyone we encountered was very kind and helpful. The indoor water park was a little crowded but expected since it was cold and raining outside.
