Not as good as expected
Pros:

The Good: Great location, nice room (King suite) with plenty of towels, mostly great staff.
The Bad: July 4th, we arrived at about 3:55pm. We were told our room wasn't really and to wait about 15 min. Check in is at 3:00pm. We never got an apology. Went to get coffee while we waited and it was COLD. Though the room was very nice and for the most part, clean but all along the baseboard in the bathroom was black mold. The breakfast was not very good (cheese omelet and chicken sausage, that's it) unless you like cereal and waffles.
I just expected better, considering the price they charge.

Hampton Inn Snead's ferry
Pros:

We stayed for 6 nights. Two Grandparents, two parents and two kids under 10. We had a blast. Many, many thanks to : Rebecca (We saw her the most and she was so kind and hospitable) CJ also went above and beyond to help us. The housekeeper Elizabeth? She has to be head of housekeeping. (Either light brunette or strawberry blonde? Sorry!) She was always able to help. Pat was another one that I'm pretty sure helped our room out. There were also 2 young men who were stewarding and doing miscellaneous things. They were so very courteous and always had a half smile and said sir/ma'am.
We were completely spoiled by the salt water outdoor pool. No one has to deal with chlorine and it was welllll taken care of. Surprisingly enough towels everytime.
Free breakfast is always awesome. We were literally around anything and everything we needed. Grocery is around the corner. MANY places to eat and order from.
We would definitely stay here again!
Watch out for that elevator. It is not kind.

Nice stay with no fuss or hidden surprises. Everyone was very friendly.
Pros:

Clean, nice room, friendly staff, included breakfast, and next door to a fantastic Japanese restaurant (Hokkaido). Outdoor pool was also nice and clean.

Nothing.
