High Street Kensington Apartments

Very convenient located condo, 24hr store steps away, close to lots of bars and restaurants.
The condo could use some maintenance, the wear is stating to show.

Overall our stay was good. Location is the highlight. Kensington is a central, safe area with good transport links and a great high street. Check in was seamless. The apartment was clean and the linen was good but there are maintenance issues which were clearly not new. Broken shower door, toilet seats, cupboard and vanity drawer. Curtains falling down and lamps missing light globes. Half empty shampoo and body wash containers and no tea/coffee etc. This all needs attention. We didn’t get a courtyard/balcony as advertised but we did get a second bathroom which was a welcomed extra.
TVs in each bedroom were good, as was air con/heating/wifi. No lifts, be prepared to climb stairs.

Fantastic property, safe and quiet, close to attractions and tube, nice dinner and night spots nearby. Loved it!!!

We loved the apartment and the proximity to parks, museums, shops, the tube and restaurants. Clean and modern but some furniture would need improvement. Overall a very nice place to stay for few days.

Great place to stay, located right next door to the Iranian embassy so there was lots of security! Apartment was clean with high ceilings and lots of space. Very new bathroom and style. Some plugs didn’t work but we just used the others. Everything else was amazing!

Such a great stay! The WiFi, AC, washing machine were such a great benefit. The family had plenty of space and did not feel cramped. Would stay again!

Great location and with an embassy next door there was a 24x7 discreet police presence making it feel very safe. I would recommend and stay there again

The location was wonderful. And the unit was quite nice. We had an unfortunate hiccup with check-in which led to some stress for us, but it all worked out.
It would have been nice if there were a few more basics stocked in the kitchen. The only frying pan was teflon, but all of the utensils were metal.
Overall, it was a really lovely stay. The air conditioning was very nice.

The furniture Is old and dirty. The floor is all scratched. People staying on top of us were running and moving furniture for a whole night. Could not sleep. Lift was broken. Had to take up all our luggage through the stairs

Trevlig lägenhet, fantastiskt lugnt läge.
Vi hade några jättebra dagar där.
Enda minus - vi trodde att vi hade bokat lägenhet med uteplats, men det fanns ingen uteplats. Klarade oss bra ändå.

This was in a great location convenient to tube and shopping/dining. Because there is a consulate office/residence next door it has police present 24 hours outside.
The apartment was spacious (bathrooms small as typical of urban areas in London). Maintenance of the building didn’t seem a priority so don’t necessarily expect the laundry amenities or showers that drain,etc. we ended up having to use a laundromat and it was a bit of a commute since the residences in this neighborhood all have laundry and there aren’t big hotels nearby. I really don’t think I would recommend this specific property just the location. If you do book you may want to mention that you are specifically booking because of laundry or AC amenities. Those were my main requirements other than the area being safe and convenient. We enjoyed our stay in Paris at Hotel Eiffel Turenne and our last night in London at the Standard (very convenient to the Eurostar train station and Londons biggest underground tube station with multiple lines). Don’t be filled by my name, I gave both of those hotels 5 stars 😉

Great location. Staff was great, even after we lost a set of keys. Unfortunately the dryer function on the dual washer/dryer unit didn’t work and we had to air dry a load. Also ran out of soap in the bathroom on the last day.

BAD BAD BAD. Don’t stay at this dirty place unless you want to get bitten by fleas. By day 3, we were covered in itchy bite marks that ruined our trip.

Most things are broken and need to be replaced and they really need to deep clean and fumigate the place.

We complained and while they were responsive, they cleaned it again, the problem didn’t go away (even after ‘deep cleaning’ it was still dusty) and when we asked for a refund, only offered a 5% discount, which is not acceptable imo.

Location is great, but that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend.

We booked this property through Hotels.com and had an extremely distressing experience. When we arrived, we found visible vomit on the bed, clearly left by a previous guest. It was disgusting and unacceptable. While the host eventually sent someone to change the sheets, the bare mattress was left uncovered, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and contamination.

This was not just unpleasant — it was a health and hygiene issue. I was already feeling unwell, and being expected to stay in such an environment was unsafe and irresponsible. We left the property immediately because it was unfit to occupy.

To make matters worse, despite clearly explaining the situation and requesting a refund, our request was denied. The host claimed we “refused help,” which is not true — we simply could not remain in such unsanitary conditions.

We are extremely disappointed with both the property and Hotels.com for failing to take accountability and protect guests. I strongly urge others to think twice before booking this listing or trusting that your concerns will be taken seriously. We expected at least the minimum standards of cleanliness, and even that was not met.

Flott plassering i et stille og rolig område. Nær t-banen og buss. Enkelt å komme seg rundt. Fin leilighet med god stil. Som alt annet i London, er det ikke stort, men fungerte fint for 4 personer (to voksne og to på 12 og 16). Lite bad, men med alt man trenger. Deilig dusj. Det som trekker ned er at heisen ikke virker (bodde i 4 etasje) og at air condition ikke virker (var 3 vifter i leiligheten istedet, og det er ikke det samme som air condition når det er 28 grader i London). Hjelpsom vert og generelt veldig fint bygg.

Overall the area of London was great and the flat was centrally located. The washing machine didnt dry the clothes and the AC in the unit was very minimal so we had to go purchae fans. Also, they didnt furnish hand towels so we had to go buy them as well. You have to call to have get new towels and they didnt offer a cleanign service so we had to take out trash and clean the unit.

Corresponds to the description. Parking it is an issue, in fact is not possible for tourists.

Great location, very convenient transportation, the apartment is very roomy, perfect for 4 of us
