It was enjoyable!
Pros:

I was pleased with the value and service. I asked for quite a bit of help at the beginning of our stay and every request was met with assistance.

Cons:

I utilized the gas grill and it could use a little attention. One grill wasn’t working, but the other grill was and everything worked out well. It was a good experience that I have never done before at a hotel.

Tim, the shuttle driver!
Pros:

You guys were all so great. Tim, the shuttle driver was the best. My friend had surgery and we accidentally left our bag on the back of the wheel chair. He went all the way back and brought it back to us at the hotel. He is definitely an asset to your establishment. Thank you for a great experience and for employing a great guy! 🙂

Summer visit to Home 2 - Don't miss the Zumbro walking path
Pros:

My first time staying at the Home 2; though I come to Rochester at least annually. Very nice hotel; the staff was extremely friendly especially Liz (General Manager), Lena and Sunday at the front desk. It is summer, but was only about 75 degrees as a high; so I enjoyed the location adjacent to a wonderful walking path along the Zumbro River. (Had a nice encounter about 10 feet from a young buck in velvet right on the trail! Also saw ducks, a family of Turkey Birds, and a family of Canadian Geese with 13 "teenages"). Back to the hotel: Room was comfortable; breakfast was really good. I had not stayed at a Home 2 recently, and breakfast is make your own breakfast sandwiches - choices of bread/biscuits, turkey, pork, canadian bacon, and chicken tenders for proteins, egg pucks and nice potato wedges. I used the laundry facilities (Bring quarters, or ask the desk.). I will return.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable.
Pros:

The room was more of a suite than I expected with a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and dishes. It was clean and I have extremely bad allergies and asthma, and they cleaned the carpet before my arrival to ensure I wouldn't have breathing issues due to pet dander. I was also extremely pleased with the shuttle driver and availability of the shuttle.

Cons:

Nothing. It was very nice for the price!

Nice extended hotel stay
Pros:

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond! The front desk staff, breakfast staff, and housekeeping are always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to “AM Tim”! He is the morning shuttle driver. Tim is helpful and courteous. His dad jokes help the mood on the way to medical appointments. Thanks for all the care!
