Sehr gut, wenn man weiß worauf man sich einlässt.
Pros:

Unterkunft war super sauber und echt hübsch. Das Zimmer war fast perfekt, bis auf den Fakt, dass man im Winter nicht über die Klimaanlage kühlen kann.

Cons:

Für den Pool braucht man eine Badekappe und das Wasser ist mit 1,20m eher seicht.
Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht zum kühlen benutzt werden, weswegen sich der Raum automatisch aufheizt.
Außerdem ich das Hotel echt weit von der Innenstadt entfernt und man muss quasi immer einen Didi oder ein Taxi rufen. Das war leider auf Booking anders ausgeschrieben/angezeigt.

Pros:

Nice looking building. Japanese bath is next door, shopping mall is across the road.. Train station is nearby.

Cons:

Room temperature can not be manipulated to suit individual need in certain time of the year. The only way to cool it down is to open the windows.

Nice hotel in Baoshan
Pros:

Nice hotel in Baoshan area. The service staff on level 12 was friendly n attentive. The free washing machines can only be used via a China phone number, which as an overseas traveler, I can’t do self service laundry during the stay

My favourite hotel in Shanghai Boshan District.
Pros:

Second time at this hotel and I will be booking again in the future.

Staff are excellent and some speak English. They are all very helpful.

The property is very clean and well maintained. Lovely decor, grandure and very ornate.

Proximity to the cruise ship port also makes it an excellent choice.

Needs urgent renovation.
Pros:

Rooms are big and clean, staff os friendly. But hotel is very old, need to be renovated, the restaurant is a canteen, the air conditioner is noisy, no TV channels in english or other language besides chinese, the water runs out of the shower.

Stay near the cruise terminal
Pros:

Lovely hotel with lots of character. Rooms were large and well appointed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Well located to a shopping mall nearby and short trip to the international cruise terminal.

Cons:

Air conditioning in the room kept adjusting itself to 26 degrees c so too hot. Also, previous occupant had been smoking in the room and the smell of stale tobacco was quite oppressive. Meant to be a non smoking room.

Best hotel in North Shanghai.
Pros:

This hotel is Shanghai's best kept secret. If you need to stay north of the city, stay here. It feels like a miniature Disneyland. Pictures of the grand staircase are accurate and do not disappoint. Staff checking in told me that the rate for my room had changed -- it had actually become *cheaper* relative to what I booked. They spent a half hour trying to get me the cheaper room rate -- outstanding. The bedroom was luxurious, like staying in a palace. Largest bed I've ever seen -- 1.5x wider than it was long. Short walk from Baoyang Rd metro station. Maybe a half hour to get back to the city on the metro, so not too long though it feels long the first time! Mall next door has food and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious. This was the best hotel I stayed in for the price during my last trip to China.

Cons:

Smoke from other rooms could be smelled in the hall. Fine once we got to our room. The front door of the hotel is on the opposite side from the road entrance -- the building on the road entrance appears to be a spa! You have to walk around the building, which is not too convenient and it can be a little dark at night. However, to me it is 100% worth the walk.
