Beds could have been more comfortable. The smell of cannabis was largely smelt inside and outside the building.
Clean
We had to check out early due to a family emergency. We had booked through a third party (Booking.com) and had to check out on 1/10 versus 1/11. We have not been provided any guidance from the hotel about how we can be refunded for the second night (1.10 - 1.11)
The room and hotel were spotless. The staff was excellent. The only thing I would point out is that the heat in the room was a little inconsistent. It was extremely cold outside, so it seemed like the unit was working hard to keep room at a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, everything was excellent!
Our hostess (desk manager?) was positively a delight. She greeted us warmly like old friends. Checked in with us daily to make sure we were comfortable and if our needs were met. She sounded genuinely interested in our plans for each day of our stay. The world needs more hospitality people like her. She makes us feel like we want to come back here, and to stay at n Hampton Inns elsewhere.
The atmosphere is quite warm and friendly. The warmth gave me push to engage with other guests in the breakfast room and on the elevator.
I loved the space in our room at the Rocky Hill location: king size bed, kitchenette area, etc. Temperature was just right for daily activity and sleeping.
And actually this is an ideal location to meet with friends and family.
Breakfast was good but we didn't realize that there was waffles until we were leaving there should be a sign to ask for them or the attendant should offer
Overall, we are pretty satisfied with our stay although the bare bones nature of the room is not worth the price that is charged. Front desk and custodial personnel were responsive and great.
The room did not have a micro-wave as advertised. The coffee in the breakfast center was lukewarm at best and we didn't have the time to complain to anyone upon four of the visits when this was the case.
We have been staying at this hotel for several years. We like everything here. It’s clean
The breakfasts were not always ideal in previous years. Sometimes there were potatoes that were a bit undercooked. This year, the self-serve waffles that children could make themselves were not available, which was a little disappointing. In the morning there was batter, but by the time my second child went to breakfast, it was already gone, and unfortunately it was not replenished. We were told that there would be no more batter. This was slightly disappointing.
At the same time, the breakfast area has always been clean over the past two years, and we have no complaints about cleanliness

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ABSOLUTELY AMAZING — The Best Vendor of Our Entire Wedding Weekend!
My wife and I hosted our wedding last weekend, and staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rocky Hill, CT was hands-down one of the BEST decisions we made during the entire planning process. Out of every vendor we worked with, this hotel was our absolute favorite—and it wasn’t even close.
From the moment we booked our room block, the staff went above and beyond in every possible way. Viashali, the Sales Manager, was extraordinary. She was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding weekend perfect. She made every step feel effortless and completely stress-free.
At the front desk, Carrie, the Front Desk Manager, was an absolute superstar. She handled guest check-ins, early arrivals, last-minute needs, and everything in between with complete professionalism and kindness. So many of our guests specifically commented on how welcome she made them feel.
The housekeeping team was equally exceptional. Gisela and Yoli, the Housekeeping Supervisors, ran their department with flawless precision. Our guests kept raving about how clean and comfortable their rooms were. Every suite was spotless, organized, and clearly maintained with pride. They made sure our entire group had a smooth and comfortable stay during a very busy weekend.
We truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of our celebration. The entire place ran like a well-oiled machine.
If it were up to us, Viashali, Carrie, Gisela, and Yoli would each be running their own hotel—that’s how exceptional they are.
We have zero complaints and endless praise. Our guests loved their stay, we loved our stay, and the Hampton Inn & Suites Rocky Hill played a huge part in making our wedding weekend perfect. We will be recommending this hotel to absolutely everyone. Prime location, amazing value.

This was my first time traveling for Thanksgiving and I have to say the entire team went above and beyond to ensure all guests had a happy holiday.
Maria offered the best breakfast I’ve had at a Hampton Inn! She kept the breakfast well stocked, clean and was so friendly with all of the guests.
The front desk agent Carrie was so welcoming and friendly greeting many guests by name. What a treat when away from home for a holiday. I highly recommend.

We held a group confrence here over 65 persons meeting room was bit tight but it worked in class room style seating. great hotel for groups of 40 to 45 . Stayed there 4 nights rooms are spacious and hotel is brand new. Excersize room has good equipment and pool is perfect too.

Recent stay had to use the “Suite shop” for a couple of beverages. Gold peak tea was $6.00 per bottle and a 1l bottle of smart water was $10,
Was quite surprised, so did a research and the same water 6 count liter bottles are $2.49, hotel was kind enough to inform me that they sell Poland Spring water for $3.00 each, when a 40 ct case sells for $8.49.
Come prepared to get ripped off if you happen to be thirsty late in the evening and don’t want to make a drive to get something
