The staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is a highlight—not just for the food, but for the warm hospitality. You’re truly taken care of.

The hotel itself is charming, and the top attic room offers a stunning view that makes the stay even more special. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, which can be a bit challenging if you're carrying luggage. Still, the overall experience more than makes up for it.

Personal supernett und hilfsbereit! Lage war top, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon im 3. OG. Frühstück war sehr gut - auch war das Personal super! Es ist jetzt nicht „modern“ (Speiseraum schon) aber absolut passend zur Location! Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir würden uns wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden!

It would be even better if the flies around the breakfast area could be managed more effectively.

Breakfast was generous. Really good family run hotel across the river from Cochem. It has great views of the castle. Parking tags are provided to park for free by the river. The hotel does not have parking at the facility but this was not a problem for us.

+ : Clean room, everything was working fine, good breakfast. I arrived a bit early, but I could leave my luggage in my fresh cleaned room.
- : I must say that having heavy luggage to bring two floors up is not the best, but the rest was really good.

Brukt kun som gjennomreise, men fint sted. Rommet var nok på feil side så vi kunne ikke ha vinduene helt oppe pga veien i samme høyde og det var varmt. Manglet AC… To vifter holdt ikke dessverre.

Mooi hotel met heel goed ontbijt. Iedere dag alles mooi schoongemaakt en vriendelijke eigenaar.

Pessoal muito simpático e prestativo. O café da manhã era muito bom! Nosso quarto era espaçoso e com vista para o rio e o castelo. O inconveniente é que eram necessários 3 lances de escada para chegar e com malas grandes não foi nada confortável. Na chegada o proprietário nos ajudou.

Hotel is in a beautiful old town and the room we were given faced the opposite way and looked at a concrete wall and street. I thought that I had booked a room with a small balcony and view of the castle, but I did not get that.

We found it to be a nice hotel, which was conveniently located for exploring Cochem. It was clean and tidy but little dated in areas. Breakfast had plenty of choice. We parked on car park opposite which was free during the weekend, but we had to move it for week days but the hotel gave us a parking permit to use on the main river road.
We were a party of 5 with 3 rooms, our friends in 2 separate rooms both had makeup taken from their rooms, this was the only solution we could come to as we searched the rooms thoroughly, even looking under beds and furniture. The makeup wasn’t particularly expensive but both were new items.
