Excellent amenities and a very comfortable room and breakfast bar room.
Pros:

Breakfasts were excellent and you could order what you wished from the menu. Friendly catering staff. Helpful team on reception. Room was very large and immaculate and well equipped and a very comfortable bed.
Lift up to 1st floor is good. Parking was no problem. We are staying here again as we were so pleased with it.

Cons:

Reading lights on either side of the bed were inoperative, but all other lights were fine

The Lodge is a quality welcoming hotel (with a golf centre).
Pros:

This was a return visit to The Lodge at Kingswood. Stayed in a standard double this time. Very nice that the room had a balcony and golf course view. But sadly it was too cold to use it currently. The restaurant was great, seemed much better food than we remembered having on our last visit last year. The breakfast was really nicely presented too and very tasty.

Cons:

Slightly disappointed with the standard room at first, as it wasn't as big as the one's we had when we stayed previously. However, the large balcony terrace, would have been a very nice bonus. The bed felt very large and so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. So we really did enjoy this visit.
