Terrible Experience at Yash Residency – Not Worth Booking...
I booked Yash Residency near Assi Ghat, Varanasi, solely because of the MakeMyTrip "Value Stays tag", expecting a decent and hassle-free stay. However, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare from the moment I arrived.
1. Unhygienic and Poorly Maintained Rooms
✔️ The room was extremely dirty – dusty bedsheets, unclean floors.
✔️ The bedspread was visibly stained...
✔️ The bathroom was not cleaned properly, making it very uncomfortable to use.

2. No Basic Amenities
✔️ No dental kit was provided, despite being a basic offering in most hotels.
✔️ They charged premium rates but failed to deliver even standard services.

3. Misleading MakeMyTrip Ratings & Poor Customer Support
✔️ The only reason I booked this hotel was the MakeMyTrip "Value Stays tag", which turned out to be misleading.
✔️ After going through multiple complaints on Phone call, MMT only offered a 20% refund, which is unfair given the experience.

Finally.. : DO NOT book this hotel unless you want a terrible stay. MMT must stop tagging such hotels as "Value Stays" without proper inspection. I had to leave the hotel without night stay due to the terrible conditions.

Poor hotel and not at all stay worthy.
Managers, staff are also bad and rude. I would request to avoid this hotel anyway.
The managers didn't allow us to stay ( for ladies) in the reception sofa even few minutes. We have to stand outside hotel even the lounge was vacant.
People should avoid such hotel which do not know to extend coutsey to women!

Description was incorrect. The hot water geyser didn’t work. Had terrible experience. The area was inconvenient

This is is fraud hotel and not up to the mark. Please do not book .Very bad experience.

We booked the property for 3 nights for Dev Deepawali, a senior citizen was also accompanying us. First of all, the road to hotel is through pile of garbage. There is no food facility, you have to order from Zomato. The worst, they will not give you any plate, saucer or spoon to have your food as there are no utensils.
For a triple sharing room, they will only give you one towel and two standard pillows, there is no extra pillow and no extra bedsheet for the third bed.
On the check-out day, exactly at 11.00 a.m., the hotel owner along with the four staff will bang your door and threaten (may literally) throw your bags out of your room. This is irrespective of the fact that you have prior informed them of 10-15 minutes delay. The whole experience of Varanasi will get washed away with Maa Ganga. Your rating of 8.6 for this hotel is highly misleading and I will never suggest you to stay at this place unless you are prepared for some good physical fight. Highly disappointed and I may not use your platform again for any booking.

we even did not stay two night. we left this place after stay only one night. air conditioner did not work, bathroom door did not close and it was dirty. next night we another hotel and stay over there. they need to refund over one night money which one we did not stay

A remarkable experience! Everything was perfect, from the room to the amenities .

My father and me stayed there for around two day for leisure and travel. We did Varanasi sightseeing too. This hotel looked quite newer building and welcoming with well trained staffs,rooms was very beautiful and good decorated almost in front. Thank you!

It was a good time here, nicely behaviour of team members and they try to give all the basic facilities... At our stay we was misguided by the taxi driver but after reaching property receptionist Mr Ashish meet us & tell about the city and also cleared our doubts. I will be there soon on my next visit 👍

Very Good Hotel for Family' Staff is very gentle and supportive. Best hotel in comparison to other hotels in same vicinity

Room size is sufficiently big. The infrastructure setup and maintenance is also very good. Washroom is clean. Breakfast quality and quantity is also very good.

Had a fantastic experience at the hotel, staff and managers treated me like family, helped me to explore the local city to cover my local seighnteeing timely, also gave free amenities at times, bed was super comfortable and appreciated when I needed the rest

Excellent staff and services. Recommend for all people who want to visit Varanasi to attend aarti at Kashi vishwanath temple,this hotel will be give a homely atmosphere.

Good place for a night's stay. It is clean and hygienic, and also has a lift. The owner was very kind and cooperative.
