The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Food was also good.
Forgot clothing behind in one of the rooms and was told house keepers leave for the day and reception didn’t have a key to the lost and found.
The property was cheap, but it's definitely not 4 stars. Every room was dirty, we have visible spots of dirt on the bedsheets, the carpet had stains, pillows had stains. It's as if the room had never been cleaned before it was given to us.
We had bed bugs in our room and constantly had problems with dirt throughout.
The breakfast options were very limited if you are vegetarian.
The room was nicer than expected. The staff was helpful and made us feel welcomed. The included breakfast was very good. We slept well.
We stayed in the hotel for a week while attending a conference. The location was within perfect walking distance of the AICC. The room we stayed in was beautiful with good WiFi, AC and even a lounge area and balcony. Housekeeping service was very good; we received small treats like apples and biscuits in our room every evening.
Breakfast was the same every day, which got a bit boring after a whole week. Although breakfast officially started at 06.30, in reality it was 06.45 before all the food was ready some mornings. The coffee at breakfast could have been better.

The gym could be a little more upgraded.
The Palace Hotel requires updating especially the rooms. Faded Grandeur. The lift is hit and miss. The restuarant has 2 menus however the staff only give al a carte ...although they do have a snack menu. Customer service needs to be looked into. When I questioned i did notice staff had taken off I.D badges off so i was difficult to assess. Found the staff to be quite rude and dismissive. Not an enjoyable stay im afraid.
Breakfast could be nicer presented, especially fruits! Toaster did not work properly.

Great location - couldn't ask for more.
However, the property could do with more modern amenities. E.g. hotel rooms don't have USB charging points for phones, etc. whereas most other hotels in Arusha have this basic amenity. Bathrooms could also do with upgrades, recaulking, etc.
Location is very good. The room was not very clean, there was a very bad odor in the room. It really was a shame
Great breakfast, good equipment in the gym and the staff were wonderful.
