Ondanks problemen bij onthaal hebben een heel aangenaam verblijf gehad. Aanrader!

Het ontbijt was fantastisch.

Cons:

Eerste onthaal aan de receptie was stroef en bijna onbeleefd. De kamers waren nog niet gereed en de communicatie hierover kon heel wat beter!

was wel OK, maar bij volgend bezoek in de streek kijk ik naar andere accomodatie.
Pros:

Het zwembad dient apart betaald. Kost 15 Euro per persoon en is voor 1 uur. Dus, wanneer je én 's avonds, en 's morgens nog wil gaan zwemmen met 2 man ben je 60 Euro extra kwijt. Dat is schromelijk overdreven. Een kamer met zwembadticket bij hen direct (zonder booking.com) is goedkoper dan met booking.com.

prijs zwembad en de kwaliteit van de sandwiches bij het ontbijt.

Cons:

Onthaal: bij aankomst niemand aanwezig aan de receptie. Na lang wachten kon men de kamer niet terugvinden door een probleem met het informaticasysteem

Knap hotel als je de combinatie van oud en modern leuk vindt.
Vriendelijke mensen.

Pros:

Een ligging uit de reisfolders, maar dan echt. Omringd door wandel- fiets- en autoroutes in een prachtig landschap. Gelegen op 200 m van het Landgoed Alden Biesen met gratis toegang aan het enorm park en siertuinen.
Daarbovenop een restaurant (13,5 G&M) die verrast, vernieuwend en lichtvoetig. De vriendelijkheid en toewijding van het personeel is opzienbarend.

Erg goed, alleen jammer van de schoonheidsfoutjes
Pros:

De ligging is uitstekend, de kamers erg ruim en ondanks de grote drukte bij het ontbijt werd alles geregeld bijgevuld en viel er niets op aan te merken. Het Akko restaurant is een absolute aanrader.

Cons:

Het gebouw heeft duidelijk onderhoud achterstand en kan hier en daar wat opfrissing gebruiken. Dat bv. de lavabo in de toiletten bij de lobby niet kan gebruikt worden, is eigenlijk niet aanvaardbaar.
Afhankelijk van wie je treft, is het personeel erg vriendelijk of niet echt.
