This was in a great spot for walking to do different things and short distance by taxi to site see.
Pros:

The breakfast was of good value and had a large variety of items. The staff is very eager to assist with anything you may have questions about. I just wish they had French Vanilla creamer for my coffee, lol. The onsite 5th floor restaurant was amazing and I give it a 5 star, money well spent to enjoy a dinner with my son and his girlfriend.

Cons:

Beds need to be a little softer and the pillows are too hard.

Hay muchos Europeos y estropeamos el ambiente tranquilo de los desayunos . En otros hoteles de JapĂłn que hemos estado el ambiente es mĂĄs japonĂŠs este es muy Europeo.

Disappointing
Cons:

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. Normally I ignore low ratings because many complaints are exaggerated, but in this case the negative reviews are accurate.
Next to the hotel is some kind of business that appears to ferment wood with chemicals. The smell is extremely strong & unpleasant. My room faced this building, so the odor came directly through the window. I informed the front desk and asked if anything could be done and was simply told “No.” The hotel clearly knows about the problem but does nothing about it and I was an extended stay guest.
If the hotel was upfront & honest they would give me the opportunity to cancel at no charge or just not book at all. However this hotel is deceptive.
Breakfast service was equally frustrating. On the first morning I asked for a bowl for cereal & yogurt. The employee didn’t know what I was talking about, insisting the hotel didn’t have bowls—even though I was using a translation app. Eventually another employee knew what I was asking for and found one.
On the second morning I arrived five minutes early for breakfast & asked if I could sit and have a coffee while waiting. I was told I had to stand and wait until the exact start time before being allowed to sit, even though the breakfast area is used as a common seating space during the rest of the day.
Other issues during my six-night stay:
• Front desk staff are rigid and unwilling to solve problems. The default answer is simply “No.”
• Staff seemed unprepared to deal with international guests.
• The hotel advertises mountain views, but my room looked directly at a brick wall.
• My room was only cleaned twice in six nights which is fine however bedding wasn’t changed and used towels were just folded and put back.
• Wi-Fi barely works in the common areas.
• Only two hangers provided in the room.
In Japan the idea of meiwaku is meant to not cause trouble or inconvenience to others.
