Amazing location in the heart of downtown Detroit. Service and staff were impeccable - everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Room was huge and luxurious.
Breakfast selection was decent, but could be better.

Al hacer el check out nadie me pregunto si había consumido algo del minibar (cosa que no hicimos) sin embargo después de mi salida me hicieron dos cargos de algo que no correspondia y sin comunicar nada.
Deje el coche de alquiler en el parking del hotel, que se supone era cubierto y me lo devolvieron con unos chorretones de algun producto con pequeños cristales (como de sal o cal) que no salen solo con agua , veremos que pasa con la empresa de alquiler si tengo que pagar un extra...
Por último, se suponía que era con desayuno incluido, a esi no se le puede llamar desayuno: unos pocos panes/bagels, huevos duros y poco más colocados sobre la barra del bar..., un poco lamentable hasta para una pensión, ni hablar de un 5 estrellas (aunque sea en U.S.)

In a phrase - classy and comfortable. I love finding out of the way places to stay, especially in historic buildings. I can't say enough about how happy I was with my stay and all aspects from champagne at check in, to happy hour in the library, to a soak in the grotto spa, and to a confortable and unique room.

Śniadanie było zdecydowanie najsłabszym punktem - płatki z zimnym mlekiem i kilka gotowych produktów wyłącznie na słodko.
The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. The room was spacious and elegant! The towels were plush. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel has valet service for the car and was a good rate during the fireworks event.
One big disappointment is that the coffee is from a Keurig machine. Even basic hotels have real brewed coffee each morning. The hotel set up on the bar each morning, so it took an hour for staff to set up. (I suggest that the hotel set a permanent location for something that is done daily to improve service.)
The windows to look outside were all very dirty and I couldn't see to people watch after the fireworks.
There is an additional $25 fee for the "spa" but it is just a hot tub. No staff was present for any additional services or to even hand us a towel or robe. We had to find towels on our own. I don't see a reason to charge for this!!
The restaurants are not opened on Mondays so we could not enjoy dinner or breakfast onsite.
Historical hotel with updating that doesn’t detract from the elegance of the era.
My room had stained carpet and a dirty window looking out over industrial objects.

Would have liked food choices on a Sunday and Monday, especially considering ordering-in prohibited and nearby choices limited.

Das WLAN funktionierte nicht im Zimmer (Nr. 204), sondern nur im Bereich der Lobby.
Das Frühstück bot kaum Abwechslung und das Essen wurde nur sporadisch nachgefüllt.
So classy & fun!! Great history and spooky in an exciting way. The first floor bar and lounge was our favorite place to hang out.

I really enjoyed the stay there. The only thing I did not care for was the doors to the room. They slam pretty hard. The massage and spa was amazing
