Da localização, na serra de Monchique.
Hotel muito velho, com muita coisa estragada (tivemos de mudar quarto). Termas a precisar de cuidado.
De ligging was het mooist. Het is een mooi authentiek geheel. Het bed was goed. Kamer en badkamer waren goed verzorgd en goede douche. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam
Het gegeven dat het een een “spa & wellness” resort is je daar ook de keuze voor maakt om te boeken en als je betaald hebt, een paar dagen later een bericht krijgt dat er een verbouwing is waardoor de gehele spa & wellness een goede maand dicht is. Tevens was het restaurant 1692 gewoon koud tijdens het ontbijt. Ze probeerden met wat kleine 220V kacheltjes het wat warmer te krijgen maar dat was eigenlijk dweilen met kraan open. Ook het ontbijt buffet was matig. Ze zeggen verse jus terwijl het uit een pak of fles komt. Misschien omdat ik in januari ben geweest en is het tijdens hoogseizoen beter…

Beatiful and comfortable
Had to go to front desk 6 times because things didn’t work or they had not prepared the room. Room phone did not work and the local number they gave me to contact the hotel on my cell bounced to corporate line. AC was not on so room was not cool. Figuring out AC was complicated. It was not even on when we walked into the room. There was also no instructions on how to use AC. I told the front desk the AC wasn’t cooling after 30 min and they told me to wait another 30 minutes. Now I already had felt the air coming out and it was warm. To get to the pool we had to use our room card. That did not open pool gate. We went up again and told them that. They then later that evening brought us two new key cards. The next day we tried them and again they did not work, so again had to go to front desk to get new key cards.
They did not offer us any compensation in we had to go to front desk 6 times in our 2 night stay to solve problems.
Also no instructions on how to use the smart tv as it was in a different language then we spoke.
I would go back as it was a beautiful place, but they need to improve protocols and be clear of not putting guest off by telling them to wait.

Foi uma oferta que fiz e fiquei muito desiludida e envergonhada por não ser nada daquilo que reservei e paguei. Ficaram num quarto antigo, com mobílias antigas, e o que eu selecionei era moderno.
Para uma noite com pequeno almoço até concordei com o valor. Pois eu paguei mesmo a pensar que seria os quartos modernos da fotografia.
Fiquei desiludida.

Oferta do vaucher de boas vindas, é simplesmente ridículo, quando o quarto é para dois e o vacher de bebida grátis é para um, o cliente fica com cara de pau a olhar para o barmene quando este lhe pede o pagamento da outra bebida
Estadia muito agradável no Central Monchique Hotel. Ambiente calmo e silencioso, perfeito para descansar. A água termal é excelente, muito suave, deixa a pele macia e aveludada. Quarto limpo, cama muito confortável, dormimos muito bem. Pequeno-almoço bom e equipa simpática e atenciosa. Infelizmente, o spa estava em obras, mas recebemos um vale como compensação ( um voucher), pelo qual agradecemos. Voltaremos com certeza. 💫🤗
O meio envolvente e a tranquilidade que se sente.
Não nos informaram que a receção não estava a funcionar no local de alojamento. Só tivemos conhecimento quando chegamos ao hotel e estava um papel, quase imperceptível, pois estava dobrado, que dava indicação para nos dirigirmos a outro ponto onde estava a funcionar a receção.
Falta de manutenção no equipamento do quarto: a torneira do bidé com fuga de água; falta de uma das portas do resguardo da banheira; falta de limpeza do ar-condicionado (zona de saída do ar cheio de pó); o spa fora de serviço.

Wc a necessitar alguma melhoria, limpeza l geral também. Falta um bar ao final do dia. Bar com oferta de bebidas muito limitada!
Desde a gerência a funcionários, assim como, os quartos! São maravilhosos! O spa com água termal é incrível. Restaurante com comida maravilhosa! Um sítio fascinante para ir! 🤗 Vamos muitas vezes e adoramos sempre!
