Pros:

The location, excellent staff and customer service. Fab views across the moors and tower from dining room. lovely breakfast and voucher for a free drink each in the bar. Rooms nice modern and clean. Coffee machine in room.

Cons:

Unable to open the window in our room, unsure if this applies to all rooms though. It was unseasonably warm at the time though.

Good value, good location.
Pros:

Room was rather small - had to eat on or in bed. Not sure how I got the bathroom radiator to come on ! Nice, quiet room. Access not easy with bags, up either staircase. Breakfast good choice for continental

Pros:

The bathroom.

Cons:

The food both in the evening and at breakfast was adequate but not exciting. The presentation and range was poor. The breakfast options were basic with poor quality fruit juices, one bread option, semi warm Lancashire Breakfast which wasn't freshly cooked. The scrambled egg had been cooked in a microwave so wasn't light or fluffy.

A good place to be based if visiting the North West.
Pros:

The pub is in a useful location, there are several bus routes that run right outside it or very nearby. The nearest major town is Bury. The staff I met were all friendly and helpful, happy to accomodate any requests. The cooked and continental breakfasts were both very good, with high quality ingredients. The room had a good toilet and shower room which appeared newly fitted, there was a small fridge also which was handy for keeping a pint of milk.

Cons:

Our room was a little bit small even for a budget double or twin room, there wasn't space for a couple of decent chairs to sit in as the two beds filled it right up. I'd have said it was fine as a single room.

Nice hotel, comfortable room
Pros:

Breakfast was provided by pre-packed foods in the room. It was nice enough. Room was comfortable, but hotel is on a main road so a little noisy
