Pros:

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was really surprised at how lovely it was. Room was stunning, staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast next day was lovely. Location was great. Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Very enjoyable

I liked the location, close to varied shops.
Also the style and age of the building
and the comfortable huge bed.
The staff were friendly and pleasant.

It's not easy carrying a suitcase up the stairs

Pros:

The hotel staff was very friendly and approachable, they even borrowed their charger for me to keep until the end of my stay. The room was very comfortable and offered cleaning service every day.

This is our third visit for a short stay. That fact in itself says it all.
Pros:

Lovely location especially for the town centre. Plenty of parking nearby. Lovely atmosphere with real 'character' rooms, warm and cosy. Very friendly welcome.

Cons:

I was only sorry that breakfast was not available.

Pros:

The location is excellent and very characterful. The staff were friendly and the food was nice

Cons:

The room was a bit noisy as it is above the bar, which is, I suppose, to be expected, but it did sound like we were in the bar at times. The room seemed a little over priced. There was a lack of caffeinated coffee

Lovely Christmas Stay!
Pros:

Lovely large well decorated and comfortable room! Very charming due to the age, decorated respectfully due to age of site!

Excellent bed size, further attention to bathroom area but overall really pleasant!

Staff were really helpful and pleasant.

Great central location, we didn’t eat at site on this occasion but we have down previously but the meals did look wonderful!

A lovely traditional Tudor House Hotel with a large comfortable bed
Pros:

Very central to the town and the bed was so large and comfortable.

Cons:

Obviously because of the age of the property the floors were a little uneven. The hot water took a while to reach temperature but was very hot
