The only thing we didn't like was the church opposite was chiming all night and disturbed our sleep.

I didnt like that the manager was not on site to sort out the issues with the wifi and staff were not abld to take the payments. Also on the check out the staff cont8nue to rely on the internet which was not worming and they asked me to go to an atm and pay with cash. This is really bad customer service. The room was low high and i hit 2 times tje head in the roof strips. Also the fact that i couldnt do my work as no internet inside the facility affected my work. And the price asked was 129 pounds for one night. At the breakfast the cleaning lady acted like she is the boss and she even interfere in the discussion which i was having with the waiter. Customer service is non existent even the night staff went with me to show me the room. Very dissapointed though the facilities deserve a 5 stars.

We didn't have the best night's sleep with deliveries being made from 3am for the store across the road - maybe this is just on Sunday? Might not be as noisy if you you're not in the bedroom in the front?
The emergency fire escape lighting in the room was too bright.

The Sunday lunch was bland and tasteless. Overpriced for what it was. I have a good appetite but could not finish it due to the blandness. The hotel does not do cooked breakfast on weekends for some reason. The continental breakfast was not good value either . The homemade granola was inedible due to being rock hard. They must have over-baked it without testing it. It seemed to be the fruits which had solidified as the oats/nuts or whatever were edible but I had to keep spitting bits out. It tasted burnt. The rest of the breakfast was not worth the price as it was cold and bland. Fresh croissant would be better than packet ones, and continental should include a choice of cold meats and or cheese. It should have been served in the eating area, not put in the fridge in my room.

The wardrobe was full of clutter

To be expected, above all pub so was noisy until closing.

Overpriced. Also had to pay for breakfast on top of the overpriced room rate. As a coeliac I had emailed ahead to check they could provide a gluten free breakfast, they confirmed they could. Both mornings I was initially offered fruit only. I had to push to provided with a poor facsimile of a cooked breakfast. The room was also stifling with only a fan on offer.

Our room had very low ceiling with beams and we couldn’t stand up in half of it. The other rooms had much higher ceilings. It was also very warm.

The fact that payment was not processed when I checked in despite having my credit card details. I was then woken up after 10pm when I was almost asleep and asked to pay. This resulted in a disturbed night. I asked for an explanation in the morning and sent a message earlier but still haven't received one. It is very unfortunate because everything else was delightful but unforunately it means I won't go there again.
