Pros:

Close to airport.

Cons:

Food..breakfast either wasnt prepared or if it was it was cold. Myself and my brother were very ill after eating curry one evening. Sickness and diarrhia.

All in all its a place I can go to again. The people were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Very clean and the room was spacious and cozy. The outside garden and view beautiful. Dining area clean bright and beautiful.
Loved it.

Cons:

I wanted to open the curtains to see the view outside the bedroom. There was old mattresses sort of where they dump old stuff. So I couldn't open the curtains.

I did enjoy my stay and the proximity to my place of visit was convenient
Pros:

The breakfast was good. Just extend time to 10h00. Location and environment is good

Comfy rooms, close to the airport
Pros:

Close to the airport and very friendly staff. We stayed here 2 times already and will definitely be a third when we are stopping in Joburg again

Not recommended.
Pros:

It was fairly clean, some of the staff were good.

Cons:

The room I paid for and was advertised on bookings.com was not the room I was given the night I got there. The next morning I went to reception and queried this and was taken to a different room which still was not the room i booked. Some of the facilities my room should have had was a bath, ironing facilities, kettle and cups, knife, fork, plates etc. this was advertised and what an executive room should have but, was not the case. I requested an iron and did not receive it at all. I will not recommend this place and do not believe it is anything near a 4 star facility.

The Rundown Ranch
Pros:

Nothing! Avoid at all cost!

Cons:

Tired looking room. Booked for two nights. First night no wifi, reported twice nothing was done. Also reported that the security gate at the door did not have a key! The cold water in the shower did not work and I could not get under the shower so I could just a have a wipe down. Reported all of this the next morning and asked for management to contact me. Never got contacted. When I then arrived before second night I was offered another room but was told that all had been fixed. I went to my room and nothing had been fixed. They offered me a room two doors down and I checked and found the exact same problems in that room. I packed up and left fortunately finding a room in another guest house.

Freezing room on eventual arrival. Aircon not working. Someone came and it did get slightly warmer.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine

Cons:

Supposed to have a pickup at the airport. Communication with the hotel was difficult. Always different answers. No record of my various attempts to book transfer.

Pros:

The staff are very much hospitable, especially Mr. Berry (despite his speed 😊). I felt very safe in a place away from home.

Cons:

On one of the nights when the hotel was sold out, I was transferred to another place (partner hotel). I didn't like it as much due to its further location and the rooms didn't meet my expectations. Nonetheless, the hotel took full responsibility of my stay while there.
