All the restaurants in the casino were closed however they don't advertise that and it's on the furthest end of town. So if you want to get food you have to leave the casino and drive which is okay if you know about it ahead of time. We were double charged and had to file a dispute with our bank which can take 90 days to resolve. We called over five times and was never able to get the casino staff on the phone.

Well I checked into my hotel room first thing I did is I walked in the door it smelled like weed so bad that I could not stand it so I put my stuff in the room and thought okay I'll leave for a little bit and go gamble and maybe it will clear out put my stuff away and went and started gambling came back to the room the room still smelled like weed very very bad and I noticed that but nightstand between the two beds the drawer was open and my Kindle pad was gone so I went to the front desk and asked if anybody was in there they said no and said that they would not go in there unless I asked for a cleaning or service had to argue with them for a little bit then out of nowhere they called the security and they found my pad supposedly somebody turned it in so yeah that's what happened then the smell of weed would not go away so I requested a room change and I got my room changed next thing that I know I had a charge on my card for additional room but the morning guy said he had no knowledge of the room being charged but on my app I showed him clearly that I did get charged twice he said there was nothing I could he could do about it so I had to wait for the night manager to show up so I could get it taken care of and it still took 72 hours for the incident to be taken care of I frequently come to wendover to have fun and to relax but I will not stay at the garter again

Would not recommend to anyone with dogs to stay here. No where for the dogs- only concrete and rocks. The only rooms for pet owners are smoking rooms. Very small rooms, hard to enter and exit. With low capacity we were put way in the back. No hot water for the shower. Starbucks in the hotel was closed at 8am. Price was way too steep for the value. Would strongly not recommend.

CIGARETTE SMELL

Staff was not friendly, fire alarm went off at 7 am in the whole hotel for a VERY long time. Staff didn't seem to care

It was a hassle calling staff in to fix the TV. We also complained about the phone not working. Nothing was ever done to fix the phone. There was no coffee pot or mini fridge. Which are normally very common in a modern hotel room. I've stayed at a Motel 6 with no issues. I would have assumed the Red Garter would be better than Motel 6.

The room was so cramped I had never stayed in a room so small. There was even any place to open up your suitcases. There was one wobbly chair that you couldn't even sit at the desk . My husband is a big guy and didn't dare sit on it.

No outlets for electronics. Shower plumbing not secure ( pipes moved more than an inch inside wall). Pillows terrible. Noise in halls. Staff at check-in seemed to be doing me a favor to fix my booking. Checked into a double smoking room, when I reserved a non smoking king. Finally moved me.

Staff on reception were rude and not very helpful.

How they miss handle my check-in and change 6 different holds on my credit card, which now ties up my funds for 7 days. Over $950 😡 a simple bill of $295 for 3 rooms.
I tried to get them to fix it. They could see that is was entered wrong, but sorry, you have to wait. Customer shit out of luck.

Casino was a little warm

The bed was super hard and no elevator
