Functional hotel close to concentration camp which is a 10 minute walk. Good restaurant next door
전체적인 사파리 분위기는 좋았으나, 겨울철이라 그런지(3월초) 호텔방이 너무 추워서 잠을 설치고, 감기를 독하게 걸렸다.
Friends and I stayed at this hotel when taking part in a rowing competition at the 1972 Olympic Lake - lovely, straightforward access.
Hotel itself is clean, comfortable and very friendly. Staff speak excellent English. Decor a bit ‘out there’ but hey what’s wrong with that - better than the usual generic hotel blandness.
Great Italian restaurant next door too - all in all we really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Simplicity and friendlyness!!!!!! Great experience and we were demanding customers ( bathtub extra pillow arrival at 3am)
All are requirements were politely answered and I truly recomand this simple yet brilliant hotel.
After all simplicity is sometime all that we need
A fairly basic room (we had two rooms with teenage children). Beds firm but comfortable. Very odd decor - the Grandad is a keen hunter so there are stuffed animals wedged in all over the place. Vinyl floors which we have come to expect in Europe. Small dining room, the breakfast was adequate. Best thing about the hotel is the staff/owners - very friendly.
My family of four stayed one night before our tour of the concentration camp. The room had four single, comfortable beds. The room was clean and tidy. We ran into a lot of traffic and arrived after the front desk was closed. There was a friendly note with directions in English (and German) on where our room was located and also a key. We did not have breakfast, but it looked good. At check out the clerk was helpful on directing us to the camp and also had treats for my children. Great experience.
The hotel was fabulous. The service was incredible and extremely helpful. The breakfast was worth every penny. If you wanna visit Dachau Concentration camp it is only three or four blocks away and an easy ten min walk.
We were able to stay as a family of 4 in one room (4 single beds). The room was basic and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was well appointed. The hotel is close to Dachau concentration camp so if your planning on visiting then the location is terrific. Great hotel with really good wifi and a reasonable price.
I stayed in the Safari Hotel one night on my drive from Frankfurt to Munich before meeting friends at Oktoberfest. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful--the front desk man gave me directions to Dachau, as well as a delicious place to eat in Old Town. It is in a quite area of town, closer to the outskirts, and about 10 minutes' walk from the concentration camp.
The decor certainly lives up to its name, with safari themed decorations throughout the building. The room and bathroom were quite large by European standards, and were relatively comfortable. The wifi connection was great (a very important thing when traveling abroad without a phone plan). Breakfast was very good, well worth the 5 euros. Check in and out were easy, and I felt very safe in the area, despite traveling alone and not speaking much German. I would definitely stay again for a night in Dachau.
I went to this hotel with my aunt, uncle, and two cousins, it was booked in advance and the staff was very friendly and was quick to answer any questions we had. The room was average it smelled strange but nothing we couldn't handle. The room was average had two beds I slept in the smaller one near the wall, it was good nights sleep. The breakfast was standard for the area and most other European hotels, I found stuff that I liked. The breakfast lady heard us talking about going to the camp and even offered to help us make some sandwiches! We walked to the camp, it was in a very favorable location for that. A great place to go if you're looking to sleep, but I wouldn't suggest staying there an extended period. I am still raving about that service!
Stayed here overnight as an enroute stop. Decided is was a good opportunity to visit dachau. We used their website to enquire about a room and they replied within one day on their availability and price.
Our family of 5 (kids 6, 4, 2) booked a room with 3 beds and a baby crib with breakfast included.
They contacted me via email to get our approximate arrival time. After 2200 they had made alternate arrangements for the key, but we arrived around 2130 so they were waiting when we pulled in. They met us at the car and helped carry in our bags and gave us our room. They told us to worry about paying and everything else in the morning and worry about getting our kids to bed. Super sweet on their part.
The rooms were great. 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, a baby bed, a bathroom with a tub, tv, and wifi. We slept great and got up the next morning for breakfast.
Breakfast was great typical European: breads, jams, lunch meat, cereal, eggs, milk, juice, coffee, tea. Everyone found something they liked and were happy with.
After breakfast I went and paid and they had a kids treasure box and they all got to pick a small toy.
All in all a great visit. It was about a 3 minute drive to the dachau camp. I highly recommend especially for short stays! Great service and super family friendly.
We stayed one night in this hotel in order to visite the concentration camp that is about 10-15 min walk away. The african decoration with taxidermy is quite weird, specially in this location. But if you can ignore this detail, you can find this family hotel to be a very pleasant place. The room in which we stayed was for 3 and very spacious. The bathroom was ok, functional and clean. The person that we had at the reception desk was very kind and helpful, he gave us the free wifi connection codes, gave us lots of information about the surrounding area. We took the breakfast which was more than correct for the price and the woman who provided the service was very caring. it is a nice place to stay if can forget the african decoration. The pizza restaurant that is just next to is hotel is fabulous
We stayed one night after our arrival from the States, and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was nice to be able to walk to the concentration camp memorial. The hotel is in a light industrial area, but that did not bother us. The breakfast the next morning was very good, and the staff was very friendly, insisting on giving us bread for lunch as we left. All in all, a decent value and pleasant experience.
The camera cost 75euros with breakfast. In my opinion 40/45euro it will be the right price to say "not bad".
Staff are friendly and try to feel you wellcome.
So, not to suggest, also for the position. Around only car dealers, garages and industries.
Beside the hotel there is a small restaurant.
The hotel was unmanned when we arrived with our key sellotaped to the door, no reception staff to greet you and no bar or food available other than breakfast ( the following day) which was a typical continental style buffet. Room and bathroom clean. Strange decor with stuffed animals and African artifacts. Not much else to see and do other than the nearby concentration camp which is a bit depressing . There is a pizza place next to the hotel but basically you are surrounded by car dealerships and garages. We were there for Chelsea V Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final which was about as far away you could get from the ground, anyway we won and the Beer Gardens were good in Munich where you could get something to eat and drink .
The room was not good clean.
The price higt for 1 room with 4 bed.
In 3 days never clean the room!
For the same price is possible to find 4 star hotel!
After 10pm anyone is by reception!
The breakfast small.
30% to expensive.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Bavaria Safari Hotel. We chose the location because it was close to the Dachau Memorial Grounds and further away from the busy city of Munich. The location was alright, what they don't tell you is that it's in the middle of an industrial area and finding parking on a week day is almost impossible.
The Dachau Memoral is within blocks of this hotel and an easy walk to and from. There is a shopping area behind the hotel, however, finding a way to get back there from the hotel wasn't the easiest thing.
The staff were very friendly, from the lady at the front desk to the lady watching over the breakfast room. They really tried to make you feel welcome.
The room was your standard room, it looked clean from afar but far from being CLEAN. The shower was so dirty and clogged up that the water didn't drain and I felt like I needed a shower after my shower. The bed was comfortable at least.
The breakfast room was well laid out and the breakfast was decent. Although, I don't really feel like it was worth the extra money spent to get it.
Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
A lovingly decorated hotel just 2 blocks from the Dachau concentration camp.Vey reasonable rates for the Munich area, with clean, well-lit rooms, parking, and a sumptuous breakbast buffet. Gloria, one of the receptionists, is a lovely, vibrant woman, who gave us a warm welcome and lots of great suggestions about things to do. Dachau is a nice town, worth exploring. An excellent Greek restaurant down the block is a good place to have dinner.
