Lacking atmosphere.
Pros:

The views are beautiful and it is a good base from which to go hiking/walking.

Cons:

I was disappointed that the Glen House did not live up to the images I had seen. The main bar/lounge area really lacked atmosphere and the lighting was poor. The dining room was a very dull and uninviting space and sadly the weather had turned and it wasn’t warm enough to eat outside.
Images we had seen saw guests sitting round a firepit but when we enquired when it might be lit we were informed that it was broken!
The mountain view in the bedroom was not to be seen as the shrubs had been allowed to grow up and obscure the view (photo below). They really need cutting back as the room is a dimly lit space with a very small window foe the size of room. There was room for two armchairs but only one was provided.
Please note the room did not have a safe; that’s a first in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Some of the staff worked very hard at the hotel and seemed to be taking the burden for others who were lacking.

Great place to stay enjoyed the beautiful view.
Pros:

We had a great stay short but sweet. The view is beautiful. The hotel is quaint and suited us perfectly. We were about 30 minutes to Santa's village and closer to Wild Cat skiing. We will be back.

We hope that things would change
Pros:

We are regular guest at the hotel, we stayed there almost since it opened and we had good experience. The year with new management and staff it felt different somehow than before and we were disappointed with the changes in the general management.

Great Hotel
Pros:

My family loves the Glen House! We've been coming to this hotel for 5 years now with our two young kids and it never disappoints! The views are spectacular and the staff is top notch! The facility is always super clean.

Wonderful stay at The Glen House!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at The Glen House. The hotel has a great location and the staff are wonderful. The hotel is a fantastic value and we highly recommend staying here and skiing at Great Glen Trails, located just outside the hotel door!
