Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, great service - super place to come back to after being at the temples all day - very tranquil

Loved the decor in the room ...original and creative. Very interesting waterfall shower. The rooms are very spacious and include a seating area with sofa and armchair . The hotel is set in lovely gardens. Breakfast ( included in price of the room) is eaten on the terrace. The staff are quite delightful and go overboard to please...as, it seems, does everyone in Myanmar. The hotel is very secure and safe. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience. I thoroughly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Bird !!! All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. The rain shower in the bathroom was a bit difficult to mix hot and cold water. Breakfast was limited but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

good breakfast in patio area surrounded by lush gardens, with decent selection of continental fares and some asian treats, a la minute tasty eggs and pancakes

while everyone from management to service went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible, the establishment could benefit from a little refurbishment, and for the price charged (100usd/room/night), some little details are quite unacceptable.. coming to mind are the clean but not pristine bathroom towels, toilet seat area surrounded by decorative pebbles which do not allow a thorough cleaning of the floor, pretty rundown pool area (even if nice pool towels and beach bag were provided)

the “environmentally friendly local boutique hotel vibe” is great, but not when it weights only to customer’s wallets

all in all a nice two days’ stay, mainly thanks to the nice people working there, not sure if i would be back though

From the check-in, the staff were very sweet and kind. They really welcomed us. The room was facing the swimming pool with lush of flowers and trees. Very calming.
The room was very cute and clean. Large spacious room.
Breakfast was served, all of them were very attentive. They have a great banana pancakes and homemade pineapple jam! Very tasty.
They even arranged us tuk-tuk tour around the city with a guide. The tuk tuk driver was also nice.We often rented an electric bike from them.
The hotel is a hidden gem. Little sweet boutique hotel we can relax. We stayed only two night but we wished we could stay longer. We will come back again and stay longer there.

What a gem and green oasis! Did not want to leave. Lovely small boutique hotel with very spacious bedroom and bathroom and overall wonderful ambiance. The pool area is very nice to chill and set in a lovely garden. We had a great stay and wished we could stay longer. It is the perfect location to explore the pagodas by e-scooter which can be rented outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope to return someday!

Honestly the best place to stay in Bagan for the food alone. The food is the best in all of Myanmar, hands down.

Medium quality bit tired but still nice. Food at restaurant was good but bland good for people who are having stomach issues

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluebird Hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful pool and gardens that make for a relaxing stay. We ate dinner every night at the hotel and enjoyed the vegetable curry and tomato salad. I highly recommend the Bluebird Hotel.

Beautiful hotel and gardens located in a quiet area in New Bagan. Not so central so you'd have to take the bike or e-bike to get to restaurants but that's easy to do. Rooms are huge and well-appointed. Would stay again.

This is simply the best place I have ever stayed at.
From my initial email requesting early check-in and late checkout due to the times of my flights, up to my arrival, they were beyond helpful and kind. As a last minute solo female traveller i didn't have any plans or expectations. My room astonished me. Spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated in a simple Myanmar traditional style with western comforts like a huge new mosquito net over bed, a large comfortable queen? bed, sitting area, enormous bathroom with a luxurious waterfall shower and enough space for 10 more people... The pool was also spotless and beautiful, as are all the grounds. Very well maintained gardens.I think i was one of only a few staying as I received very personal attention at dinner in their restaurant (excellent food, probably a bit expensive for what it is, but it was good quality). Staff were so polite and sweet, telling each other to be quiet around me, bringing out citronella candles, making my cocktail... So cute. The reception ladies both helped me book tours. On my first day after arrival she arranged a private driver to take me around Old Bagan and to see the sunset. Over the next 2 days she arranged various tours for me and i had a fantastic time. It was wonderful to return to a spacious room and cooling pool after a long day. The staff are amazing, location fantastic, and rooms faultless. I can't recommend Blue Bird enough.

Wonderful oasis near New Bagan. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast was lovely with eggs and pancakes as options. Most importantly, the pool was stunning and welcome after a dusty day sightseeing. The rooms are incredibly tastefully decorated, with lovely local touches, and huge! The hotel is outside new Bagan however, which limits alternative eating options.
