Dirty looking serious need of work

The room has no key for like other rooms and found having to use the electronic keypad a fath has it did not light up everytime. The tv in the room was unusable has it was broken only half a screen to watch . Hot water tap only ran at a drizzle. Bathroom was very dirty. Shower tray had mould . Toilet seat was wooden and very water damaged all toilet it's self was covered in black mould ir dirt. The building looked very tired over all . . No one would answer the phone number given . They state .7 miles from bath . This is to the sigh post welcoming you to bath . But it's a good 2 mile away from centre .
Bus stop were out of use . This could have also been on the site has its been out if use for a while.

Need to advertise no shower bath only - breakfast was basic no option but still good - keypad didn't really work had to call for help

L'esmorzar si no ets de típic anglès no tens gaires alternatives, el cafè pèssim, sense variació. L'habitació horrorosa, finestra a peu de l'aparcament, poca higiene i instal·lacions en necessitat de un bon manteniment. Possiblement és que em va tocar la pitjor habitació. A l'entrar a l'allotjament es percep una peculiar olor que no valoraria positivament.

There's an overwhelming smell as you walk in..when door is left open its better.

Looked derelict and totally unkempt on the outside. Not manned, the door was locked I had to call a number to speak to someone. Explained we had emailed to say will be arriving early and can we get to our room. The reply was shouldn't be a problem but might incur a charge, which was fine, but when I spoke to the man on the phone he said this wasn't possible. I asked to at least be let in to use the toilet, we had travelled over 3 hours. He eventualy gave me the key code but said the ladies was broken so use the gents! We went in and no one was about, it was very dusty, run down and a bit scary to be honest. The toilet was disgusting, we made the decision there and then to get out asap because the thought if what the bedroom would be like !! After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we are not the only ones with this bad experience !!!

Could do with a makeover, carpets worn and sink in bedroom separate from shower and toilet. Slightly musty smell as building is old.

The complication of self- check in with details sent to the room on the day by mobile was OK and worked - but a little daunting to understand and implement.

The room at the top of the house was very hot and I worried about how to make a fire exit down the stairs as think that would be the only exit - should that be necessary. With no staff on site - it can be a bit un-nerving to think how to manage this - as the heat made sleeping more difficult!

The tatty exterior: barriers and old signs outside the property, no visible welcome signs or reception, shabby entrance and interior fixtures and fittings. After a phone call someone came to check us in and show us to the room, and although he was really pleasant throughout our stay, he informed us that we couldn't have the Superior Double we had booked, but a std double, this was due to a leak in no 35, our allocated room. The std double was so small you couldn't swing a cat! No shower but a slipper bath that was totally impractical and only one working bulb in the bathroom out of the 3 fitted The complimentary toiletries consisted of a few sachets of shower gel and shampoo, not a huge issue but again not ideal.. As this break was booked for a celebration this was not the start we had envisioned.. promised a refund of 30% off my booking so will ensure this is forthcoming. This could be such a fabulous place but it needs a total refurbishment and lots of money spent on it.
