Hit and miss
Pros:

Well maintained rooms, facilities and amenities

Cons:

Having to pay for kids club, not many entertainment or activities from toddler to kids.

Pros:

The room is nice and spacious, the check-in process is a bonus, we were arranged on the 6th floor of the royalty club to do the check-in and skipped the queue. However, this hasn't been mentioned before our arrival; it would be very helpful to know what benefits we have before we get there.

Cons:

The hotel's booking message is not very responsive, plus the restaurant service is really slow for some reason. Anything not on the buffet has a minimum 45-minute wait after ordering.

It was a memorable and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay here again despite the minor issues.
Pros:

The property was very accessible to the adventure park. They also had a wide spread for breakfast. Their staff were friendly.

Cons:

The aircon in our room wasn’t cold. We put the temperature at 23 degrees but it was still warm. Had to switch in the fan. This happened on the last 2 nights. We were also informed that we had a free upgrade to the Royalty Lounge and could enjoy their cocktails. When we visited the lounge, we were told that our room number wasn’t registered. Therefore couldn’t enjoy their cocktails benefits.

Pros:

Room and facilities easy access to adventure park and beach ( a shuttle from hard rock hotel to the westin hotel)
Its far away journey travelling from KL to desaru but its worth it
Relaxing in hotel its good
If u want to go out for lunch/dinner drive 10min to small town. Night life is quiet here , you can enjoy live band in hard rock.

I am very disappointed with my overall experience, as several aspects did not meet the expected standards of a 5-star resort.
The in-room entertainment was outdated. The television was an older Samsung model with a very limited selection of movies and audio playlists. The Bluetooth connectivity was unstable, especially when used from the bed, requiring me to sit close to the TV. The speaker system also felt very outdated, with poor sound quality.
Room comfort was also below expectations. The pillows had an unpleasant odor, and the absence of a Nespresso machine was surprising for a hotel of this category. Additionally, the hot shower took a very long time to warm up and was never sufficiently hot.
The dining experience was particularly disappointing. Breakfast did not meet 5-star standards. For dinner, my family had to wait approximately two hours for our food despite the dining area not being particularly crowded. We placed our order at 9:30 PM and only received our food after 11:00 PM, following a follow-up with the kitchen. This level of delay is unacceptable, and unfortunately, the food arrived cold and of poor quality.
The theme park facilities appeared worn out, with old paint and equipment that looked poorly maintained. Similarly, the bicycles provided were old and did not reflect the premium branding of the resort.
Overall, I feel that the experience did not justify the price paid. Having traveled to countries such as Japan, Australia, Thailand, and Norway, I found this stay to be particularly poor value for money.

Best place to relax
Pros:

Excellent staff. Very helpful & friendly. I feel so welcome. The peaceful surroundings are the best place to relax. Facilities very good. A lot of activities for me & my kids to enjoy.

Cons:

The restaurant by the pool served us an overcooked chicken chop burger. My son cannot eat the burger, very hard to chew. Bit disappointed. Need to improve the cooking because the food is quite pricey.
