Better elsewhere
Pros:

The staff is very friendly - Spanish speaking only. Reception 24/7. Good location. (safe) AC available.

Cons:

You cannot open the door yourself to enter the place but there is always someone available to open the door.

Rooms are NOT soundproof - you can hear everything. On my first night, some guests were slamming the doors after midnight, laughing and talking VERY loud which woke me up several times. The reception is present but they do not do anything regarding this so if you are a light or normal sleeper, think twice. The window can open and close but does not close entirely meaning you hear every car racing by (and trust me, there are many cars at night)

If you can sleep through all the noises on every side of the room, the smell is another level. The bathroom had this paint smell without paint being present (mold? chemicals? who knows what it was). I left the bathroom door closed to avoid the strong smell entering the room but when I needed the bathroom in the morning, as soon as I opened the door I got this wave of strong smell that gave me a big headache. Whenever I tried to shower and waited for the hot water to start running, the ceiling was dripping water as well making it very unpleasant to stay in a paint smell environment with water dripping from the ceiling instead of the shower head only. This issue is already known as housekeeping entered the room and acted like it was normal. The same smell was in the hallway meaning more rooms suffer from it. For health reasons alone, I'd stay elsewhere next time.

El hostal tiene una excelente ubicación. Edificio en buen estado y limpios, así como habitaciones muy aseadas. Excelente conexión a internet. Desayuno delicioso. Habitaciones aseadas y camas cómodas. Cada habitación tiene su escritorio para hacer labores de teletrabajo. La amabilidad del staff hace que la estancia sea acogedora. La tarifa del hospedaje es apropiada con su servicio. El hospedaje es funcional y accesible. Lo recomendaré! Quedé muy satisfecha con mi estancia.

No tuve la oportunidad de conocer el lugar debido a que no respetaron la reserva de una habitación adicional, me la confirmaron y después de dos dias ya a un dia del viaje me dijieron que somos tenían una habitación.

Esto cambiaba por completo mi viaje y comprometía la comodidad y demas, entonces tuve a última hora reservae otro hotel con un costo mayor por este inconveniente con este hotel.
