If the air con had actually worked, this would have been a perfectly acceptable budget hotel
Pros:

The hotel is a little tricky to find if you're relying on Google Maps, but once you arrive, the free on-site parking is a real bonus. Check-in was quick and effortless thanks to a genuinely friendly, English-speaking receptionist who made us feel very welcome. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate for an Ibis Budget, so there were no surprises there.

Cons:

The biggest disappointment was the air conditioning in the room, which was advertised. We stayed here during an exceptionally hot period (they call it summer there), so a functioning air conditioner was more than just a nice extra. The unit certainly sounded like it was working, but it simply wasn't cooling the room. With daytime temperatures reaching around 37°C and it still being about 28°C at 11:30 pm, the room remained uncomfortably warm and made for a poor night's sleep.
