Nice place to stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Sorroundings was very good however metro station was far from from the hotel.

a comfy stay and comfy food to warm up the tummy
Pros:

there's a lot of eateries just next to the hotel. Tried some of the restaurants and they serve very tasty local food.
The Hotel staff are very friendly and nearby they have 2 supermarket if you love to visit their supermarket.

Cons:

IF the price can be more cost effective would be great.

First impressions/experiences are everything: the difficult access for a 3 bag traveller failed me.
Pros:

Breakfast: Rudimentary. This brand could take a leaf out of Ibis Styles' brand with so much more you could do for a basic yet great breakfast. The facility was great though, especially the kiddies corner.
Walking location perfect, access by car frustrating if one doesn't know the area.
The staff really did go out of their way to assist when they realised how annoyed and exasperated I was checking in. Great service. Friendly environment.
My grandson of 6 preferred the entrance, kiddies corner and my room to the 5 star I had just moved from. However, I am pleased I extended my stay at the previous hotel and only stayed one night in this hotel.
My expectations for an IHG brand were not met however now that I know, I may recommend it as a budget hotel.

Cons:

Access to the entrance was very difficult with 3 suitcases travelling alone. I could not leave the DiDi nor my belongings while hoping to obtain assistance. Phones were not answered while I was being overcharged by my driver who was not interested in even getting out of his vehicle to assist. Between us we did not know about a side entrance or the parking garage access and with no-one to speak to at in the hotel, this was extremely annoying. Found it surprising no-one spoke a service-level English for an IHG hotel - although the 'translate' apps are fun to use.
And as for the treadmills in the gym OMGoodness - when last were these serviced? The NOISE was deafening while trying to jog and I am no heffalump.

Loved the room. Very limited English speaking for a major hotel chain. No restaurants, activity, or transportation nearby. Most Xian taxi drivers had no idea where it was

Excellent but not in the location you think
Pros:

Great hotel but not in the location it says on the map on hotels.com. We spent an hour trying to find the place and ended up spending money on cabs because we were not at all in the area we thought the hotel was located. I will say, the hotel was great and the service excellent. The breakfast was delicious. One employee spoke English and was able to arrange a car for us to the terra cotta army, and to the airport.

Pros:

Very comfy hotel, but according to the map on the site here is located nearby metro and in the center more or less. That proved wrong, the hotel is 12 kilometres away. In an area with nothing. This was a big downturn for us. Please update the map, so other people won't have to use a lot of their time to find their way around. The hotel itself has very large rooms with nice needs and bathrooms. The breakfast could improve.
