I had a wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton Raleigh Durham, and I just wanted to take a moment to share how impressed I was with both the hotel and its exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, modern, and comfortable. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great place to relax, whether you're staying for business or leisure. What truly made my experience stand out, however, was the outstanding service provided by Candice and Melinda. They were both incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Their friendly approach, willingness to help, and attention to detail made me feel valued as a guest throughout my stay. It’s rare to come across staff who go above and beyond so effortlessly, and they are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for such a pleasant experience—I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning in the future.

Clean and big rooms, decent for what I was looking for.
Pros:

Clean and nice rooms. Bed comfy and big. Just what I needed. In general good !

Cons:

Pancakes and coffee was fine, Eggs were aweful and not much of just fruits and healty options. I have never seen before plastic and paper plates and cutlery being used at a decent hotel, it was tacky and cheap which I do not expect from the name Hilton
There was a lot of sounds from the aircon in the room.

However, I needed a bed for one night at an airport hotel, this is a solid and clean option.

Pros:

Close to the airport, clean, comfortable. Shuttle driver was informed and very pleasant, and Janay at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. We liked that we were able to keep our vehicle in a safe place during our trip, as we stayed at Tru before AND after flying out of the country.
Breakfast on both occasions was fresh and plentiful. We appreciate things like this.

Cons:

N/A. This hotel will be our new go-to when traveling from RDU

Overall a warm and welcoming stay and would return in the future if in the area.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. It is the typical hotel spread and as all it is not exceptional, but, there was enough of options that I put together something that worked. The staff was always there to keep it neat and clean as well as stocked. Overall, the front desk staff (they were the staff that I interacted with most) were amazing and could not have been more attentive and were very kind to me while I was there. They get the highest rating from me! I also noted they treated every customer the same - kudos to them!!!!

Cons:

The selection of stations on the TV was not special and I struggled to find something to watch. The GFI outlet for the refrigerator kept tripping leaving items in it to get warm. This happened 3+ times and since I know how they work, I reset it myself, but I did also let the front desk know it needed attention.

There wasn’t any water pressure , people were noisey and wasn’t what I expected bed was uncomfortable left my trip early bc I couldn’t stay there any longer

Disappointing, frustrating and met with negative consequences
Cons:

I left a wake up call for 6a because I can’t hear my phone alarm. I woke up at 8 in a panic and missed my flight to Spain. They said the computer was done and I should have set an alarm on phone. They gaslighted me and never apologized. It cost me hundreds of dollars to fix everything.
