My wife and I stayed here while visiting family in Carrabelle, the Villa we stayed in as well the grounds in general were clean and very well kept up. The most memorable thing of the trip would be the staff, the restaurant manager and the server during the days we were there made us feel like we have known them for years.

The facility and amenities were wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our pup enjoyed his stay also. We will be back for sure!

Staying in the villas was like staying in a little cottage! The property is beautiful and the employees at the restaurant were all amazing. We will definitely visit again! 10 out of 10!

The stay was great, we stayed in one of the condos and not many complaints there. There were a few small things if you wanted to nit pick but I don’t expect perfection. Only real complaint would be of the golfing experience. For $100 per person I would have expected a little better. Greens were great but tee boxes and most of the fairway was little more than dirt. We were also one of the few people on the course but still found ourselves being held up by workers who seemed to not care that they were holding us up with no one behind us.

Nice out of the way place. Room arrangement is rather tight.

The area around the resort is beautiful. it was Sunday, was supposed to have breakfast in the restaurant per its menu in the room, but it was not available. The room was not clean, but the sheets and towels were good.

The condo was for the most part excellent. Next time I would need to request bathrooms for handicapped people.

Quiet and remote location. excellent property. comfortable, nicely equipped kitchen.

This place has great potential, it's a shame it's going to waste.

The Good:
The pool and golf course. Room was Ccean and very spacious, with mini fridge and microwave.walk in closet in the bathroom and a large shower were much appreciated. The course was decent although some of the holes are quite short. It's good enough to play a round.

The Bad:
The service is absolutely terrible. When we didn't receive the email the resort referenced so I called at 1:30 and was told they're sent at 3. (Yes, this is important to have as there are detailed instructions. More to come on that) We arrived at 4, check in time, and had to go to the golf shop to complete. The woman who "helped" us clearly was being bothered by our arrival despite the fact the place was dead. She only directed us to our cabin.

We received the email at 11:30 pm, more than 7 hours after we checked in. It is important as it provided hours, contact info for the restaurant, maintenance, maps, other amenities and the card code it access them, etc.

Long story a bit shorter - the food is terrible but due to the remote location you have very limited options. The wait staff is slower than molasses, everyone seems to have a "what do you want?' attitude

If you're planning a trip here I would recommend purchasing all of your groceries and other necessities and bringing them with you.

I cannot stress enough how absolutely awful the service and food is here. Calling this a golf resort is major stretch.

There was no television remote in the villa, we called the number provided and no one called us back. The knob to the dryer didn’t work so we washed our clothes with no way to dry.

This is an extremely nice property. The food at Crooked River Grill is absolutely delicious with no skimping on quality ingredients. We didn’t play golf but the course looks very nice. There are some renovations being done to the main pool bathrooms, The fitness facility is a separate cottage and is well appointed. Our condo was spacious and had great views of the pond and golf course. Beds were comfortable and we loved the space. It was certainly functional but there is only minimal interior design. A lot more thought should be given to that and that would take this property to a whole new level. It is extremely nice and functional as is, but some minor details are overlooked that should not be. I highly recommend renting this property!
